  6. I have an old 1963 alumicraft 14 ft and I plan to mount some manual proos riggers to the rear corners where there are some hand holds there. Haven't done it yet but I figured that they could be mounted to a board and use big C clamps to hold the board to the gunnels. or you could maybe fashion a wooden bracket to rest on the sides of the last bench in the boat and give you room to sit and maneuver the motor. but in any case I think making something from wood for a bracket to clamp to the boat and mount the riggers to that would be my idea. maybe a 2x8 or 2x10 piece of board would be sufficient to brace on the seat and gunnels with big C clamps. some engineering is the hardest part.

  10. I know it looked bad when I said here I am on the road...but it was just a figure of speech meaning I'm away from home. Right now my lovely female companion Cher is driving. Nooooo never would try the posting and driving thing cause I need all thumbs and toes even, to jam 18 forward speeds, 4 in reverse, keep 18 wheels lined up and avoid the kamakazee 4 wheelers....oh and try to keep track of the seat covers while my tongue is hanging out the window licking the hub caps on my front wheels, when I see a fine looking seat cover.SWAT..OUCH!!...OK OK I wasn't looking [ Post made via Mobile Device ]

  15. What color fireline fused do you use. I would like to give the stuff a try if it works as well as wire to keep fleas off and achieve depths like wire. Interesting, thanks Mark [ Post made via Mobile Device ]
  16. Have you ever used it off a boat? I have not, but have considered it and I am sure it would work well for that. I want to scab it to the downrigger ball facing backwards to see if I can watch the lure actions and maybe get to see a viscious king hit. Only thing about using on a boat is that the camera can twirl around as you drift so you wouldn't be able to watch your bait all the time. I have a disc that sits over the hole in the ice and locks the video cord in position, so you can turn the disc and aim the camera straight at the lure and it stays put. 25. Colors I like are green metallic, Kelly green and yellow, fire tiger. Size 0 for a stacked down and out on the rigger cable using 30 lb ande mono. Size 001 for off the gunnels set on 2 and 3 using 30 lb power pro until the fleas come out. Or just use the Malin stranded wire all season. I don't use a snubber, just my preference for using a flexible and forgiving rod and 30 lb Seaguar flouro 8 ft leader to take the whack. Daiwa heartlands rods are very forgiving. Twilly tip on rod if you use wire. Mark [ Post made via Mobile Device ] [ Post made via Mobile Device ]
