THE WOODS OF INDIANA ARE SAFE AGAIN! (-3)
skipper19 replied to ray koziatek's topic in Big / Small Game
Only 132?...cripes Ray what kind of ruler you use...made in Canada? Looks bigger than that to me dude Mark -
under wear was invented by the ancient indians of North America..........Cause they didn't wear anything else like a skirt, kilt, or toga..in early times underwear were called loin cloth in order to cover the loins...the Nads just got covered as a side effect of covering the loins Mark

I got some Hornady sst 300 grain at 2000 FPS for my 12 gauge rem 870 (no recoil pad) and those things are super duper shoulder beaters . I thought the Winchester supremes were bad for recoil but these are really powerful. Five shots to zero and I was glad, cause I couldn't stand the abuse on the shoulder no more. I think a rhinoceros would be in trouble with this load. Any body else use this load in their 12 Ga? The Hornady sst 250 grain 45 caliber is working sweet in my Thompson Center 50cal. black diamond rifle with 100 gr of pyrodex and a 209 primer. three shot group 100 yards under 1 inch. two shots though the same hole. He was playing big game hunter on his game boy while on his stand in the woods. He said he bagged an 11 pointer and it's in his trophy room already

Happy B-day Bob...hope it's one of your best...and many more even better to come a six pack of your favorite Mark -
I believe if ACORN was not involved with the political interests in this country I.E. encouraging illegals and the un-informed or...stupid people who shouldn't vote....and aiding the importing of illegals to this country, and giving them homes and cover with OUR hard earned taxes, for the purpose of propagating their efforts in recruiting more dummies to vote (over and over again)in the mindset of that anti-American group. Our voting system has been bastardized by these special interest groups and I think some of the outcome of the election would have been quite different SOMEHOW, they all need to be investigated and removed from their agendas. ACORN being busted by some good conservative young people is just the beginning and I am slightly encouraged that there is still some hope in the future and young generation. Mark

Nice Pike Nick, Thanks for sharing Mark -
Congratulations on a great deer Calling is working better this year for me than anytime before. The grunt is just infuriating the bucks around me but none as nice as your shooter, so I'm waiting. great Pic, thanks Mark

Very nice. You get just as much thrill with a six point or even a spike horn when that deer is close enough to arrow, as a ten point. I know I have a whole lot of three point skulls in the shed, and they all hold a memory for me. I don't know why the three points always seem to be the ones that come around, but today I grunted up one that was a real comic, so I let him walk, even though he offered me a shot at least six times. He came in like a monster fighter and wrecked up some brush and scraped and peed all over the place tryin to claim his territory. Even after he left the area of my stand I was able to bring him back with a few more grunts, six times. It was comical to watch him study the woods for that rival buck, and strut around at different angles to my position trying to locate that grunting buck I'm waiting for his ten point rival, the real one, to come in that boldly now. I know he is there, so I will wait this time. Mark Curious three point buck today...."Where is that grunter, I'll show him a thing or two" Little doe fawn and mommy came to smell his trail of testosterone anointment.

Nice fish Tom and Jeremy, I was down to the Oak launch a couple nights ago and the water level is so low I didn't think there would be enough water to float the boat off the trailer before I ran outta dock to walk on to tie it up. Guess I need to get a second guy to rope it back in maybe. Would like to get out for a few brownies...hard to make up my mind. Hmmmm do I hunt the full moon phase or do I troll the lake Mark -
Beauty, looks like ya need a good blood trail on all those red leaves. Nice tall antlers Mark

Good luck in Indy Ray. Seen lots of HUGE bucks along my travels there. Some unfortunate incidents of car or truck (yuck) encounters along I-80. Several of these deer lost their head..not sure why that happens..can't eat the bony protrusions from the skull, and I guess some unproductive hunter has to have a story and trophy rack to brag about like they got it themselves or something. Yours is a great story and one that is truthful and heartfelt. I'm sure that there will be a posted pic of your reward for being a good sportsman and mentor for the uninitiated newcomers to the world of outdoor sporting activities. Safe hunting my friend, and a wish for your success in the trophy you pursue. Your skills are in the hands of the spirit of the ancients, use them to the highest power "Bald Eagle" Mark
