I have already decided that if this becomes law, I will no longer purchase the supersportsman license that used to be $68. I will only buy what I will use. There are a lot of people like me who buy the super in hopes they will have the time to use the full priveledges that it affords us. however, as I have gone thru every year purchaseing the super, I still have yet to use everything it gives. $10 is not much to quible but it is the principle of the thing. Stupid idiots in Albany....where's the part about them cutting thier salaries and pork spending habits instead of ruining the states economy further by increasing the costs to enjoy the resources of the state,,, most of which are free and are totally undermanaged. I'm sure they will not put any of these increases to any good use, except to loose it all in the general fund. Paying for government madams $2000 an hour, keeping dead wood around in useless offices like the guy who has to come make sure your electrical grounds are working on installations....and that's ALL he does, but we need a stste official to do that With the population of this state, you would think there would never be a problem...must be the city....don't they have their own taxes? I'll bet they don't fish or hunt either...Hmmmm.. do you suppose we are supporting the elite in the city of New York again? NO DOUT ABOUT IT Mark

Went to I-bay with Mick today, had a good time, nice day, but.....fish were small, and not to aggressive. watched them on the underwater cam (Mick swam down with my video camera and brought back the results) Where the heck was Ray We needed a frog..uhhh HVAC man. Well we only kept a few average perch..threw back several dozen dinks. we packed in at noon. tried right off Snyder Island in about 23 ft of water. Lots of perch there but small. used jigs tipped with spikes and waxies, about the same results either way. tipups did nada. Ahh maybe next time.. Mark

Not sure what the south end is like, but have fished the north end above the bridge. It is very deep around 65ft and it happens real fast from shore...there are crappies and other panfish and I hear there are walleyes but haven't found them. there's about every species of fish in there even some small stripped bass...I've not fished it extensively but most guys seem to fish the creek channel that comes in on the southeast side of the bridge above the dam. fished it the last time 2 years ago over near the island but had no luck getting anything significant

HELP (THANKS TO ALL THAT HELPED)

Before you go to the extreme of reformatting...why not try a good online windows utility/registry scan and repair? Sometimes the system losses a portion of it's registry to corrupted files that are no longer in use and it helps to "reorganize" the startup files...certain file extentions are sometimes lost when uninstalling a hardware function or making changes to a file in utilities. File extentions that are necessary for opening pictures may be inaccesible due to changes in the control panel if that was the case. One other option is to use the system restore feature built into windows to restore the computer to an earlier time before the problems started. This can be useful if you know there was a conflict with a recently installed hard or software application. It generally will not hurt anything to restore to the last point saved in the computers operation history. I'm not sure of the windows platform you are using...XP or vista or something older...system restore is in your control panel options...if that doesn't work then the online cure may be the only "cheapest" way out of the glitch. Try this...http://www.pcperformancetools.com/repairwindows.htm I haven't used this one but it has good reviews and most are the same for the cost benefit...at least it will let you do a free scan and determine if it will be able to help...let me know if any of this helps..Good luck Mark -

Not on the big O but in the Gulf of Mexico, a charter boat I once hired for some grouper fishing, a couple of years later, became the victim of a 46 foot sea ray crewed by 2 souls, doing 30 knots in the fog...the skipper looked away from the screen of the radar for what he said was a short instance and never saw the fishing vessel anchored on a rockpile with clients aboard. The sea ray cut the rear of the 32 foot fishing vessel off and it sank rather quickly...one person died later at the hospital... and the captain was injured as he was thrown from the boat.... the sea ray was able to come about and lower the platform to rescue the people in the water. That's as close as I want to come to something like that....
