  1. Beautiful salmon! ..and pink rod hooked up to that big white tub! Pink rod..Hmmmmm Ray should be asking any time now where that came from...:wub::wub:
  2. Nice fishing Tim! Looks like the perfect water for a relaxing day with dad! Mark
  3. Looks like some nice fishing again Nick and Theresa! Better than what I'm doing....killed and grilled a deer this morning on the Kenworth. Made a crappy day and now a short week of things. On a good note..maybe after I get the estimate done tomorrow, I might be able to splash my boat this week before the crazy weekend begins! Mark
  4. Nice sunshine pics Tom! That trout is.. well....Ugly. Was it hooked in the tail and swam backwards:blink:
  5. Point Breeze stay at the Captains Cove motel and marina. They are on rte 18 just past the 98 split on the east side of the bridge over Oak Orchard river. Launch either side of the river off rte 18 on Archibald road to the west or at the county park at the end of 98 east side by the Black North Inn. Both launches in the river and are excellent. West side has more parking. Both have restrooms and are north of the captains cove on the lake shore
  6. Yup, she's a pup!..thanks guys!..I can't leave a little one like this running around without a friend. She is helping me lose weight and get in shape. Cut 200 calories of my micky d breakfast with her sad begging eyes and walking up steep banks to do the nature walk. Stuff I never have done for the last 8 years. Been without a dog for a long time. I guess we both need each other in ways I never realized ever since Lady was the trucking dog. She is fun and full of chit just like me! Hahaa!
  7. Found her wandering a truck stop in Georgia, no one watching her. Nice pup, about 10 weeks old.. Likes truckin, have to try fishin..if she doesn't eat the fish before I get it off the hook. Her name is Katie. Mark
  8. Saw you Nick, I90 between Rochester and Syracuse around noon. I was eastbound in the big rig Quad Graphics truck. Good luck out there! I'm watching you... Mark
  9. I would suggest it is a rod holder in original form but is adapted to a planner mast holder. Looking at the planner reel it has a line guide aimed in the direction of the heavy duty holder. It is a way to be able to get the boards more forward of the boat and be able to reel them from the cockpit area. It has been modified to be strong enough to pull the big boards...evidently...at least it'd be what I would do. Sent from my PC36100 using Tapatalk 2
  10. Way to go Kooter! Beast of a Laker!.. Sent from my PC36100 using Tapatalk 2
  11. Nice fishing Shawn! To bad I wasn't one of the boat traffic, I could of flanked with ya like a blocker and caught some of your great fishing you guys had. Boat not ready yet..:blink: Sent from my PC36100 using Tapatalk 2
  12. Great to see ya got out for the season there Mike! Nice looking bow! You and Tom gotta hook up and drive North to the big pond this summer and see what we can do about some kings! I have some work to do on the Stand & Deliver machine yet. Minor Yamaha things that are the usual every two year thing. Waiting on some gaskets to finish the job right now. Keep in touch Mike, glad to have you go along anytime. Mark
  13. That's the string Shawn tied to his finger so he wouldn't forget the rigger. any more than 20..er..21 things and I have left something behind before Glad to hear the rig is up for another season of fun at the Oak. Coho for the grill Mark
  14. There are some simple mods you can do to it and make it work even better. If ya get one, pm me and I'll detail what I did to make it more efficient. Great design that needs a little tweaking.
  15. A pic of it doing its thing loaded with wood for smoke in the side box.
  16. It's a Chargriller Duo. Gas on one side, charcoal grill on the right, and the side fire box for wood on the far right. Got it at Lowes.
  17. I like my Fishgillz. Around 50 bucks. They grab your temples and don't slide. Polycarbonate lenses are very durable. Owned my pair for 5 years now and no scratches, haven't flown off in not so screaming runs 45 mph in a center console. If they do ever come off my face, they float, and they are a vibrant RED, easy to see on a search mission. Many colors to choose, many sizes to fit heads, even my kraut skull. Penetrate the surface glare, but gotta rake em off like any to see the fishy finder. Mark Fishgillz on the beak!
  18. Oink oink!...very nice! How many calories in a straight goby diet? Mark
  19. Well isn't that just great....Cuomo has investigators running around wanting to buy sporting rifles inside NYS just to make an example of someone who is not a criminal. Nice bait and trap scheme on our taxes that still doesn't prove a thing about the owner of the firearms other than the sale wasn't done on the other side of state lines at a arms dealer for a nics check under the new law sale requirements. The public should also have investigators to track that sale to see where it goes from there after Cuomos goons get them. Back to NY or maybe sold to the feds to end up in another illegal gun running scheme in Mexico...oh but when the government does it.."It's not illegal"..
  20. Best theft deterrent at the house is a German shepherd with a doghouse and your boat inside an invisible fence. Sign on the boat at the transom says you have 3 seconds left to leave unscathed...too late if they read slow. At the marina, you are out of luck, nothing will stop a determined thief. They don't care what they destroy to remove the motor or electronics. Locks are good for honest folks staying honest, that is about it. I really try to avoid leaving my boat at the marina overnight. A boat in the marina is like a car with the windows down in a parking lot anywhere. If your guard dog likes to fish and he can control himself, let him stay onboard overnight. Best sleep you will get.
