  1. upload foto These are the emboldened ones you talk about Stan. Their leader was voted back into power by these cause we didn't think it could get worse and sat it out too much. Now see how all the unions love him after he lied to them too! It's good that his own home state is the first to go down the bankrupt drain this year. Yes I did see that the Gov. Brown...wait wasn't he the one that everyone wanted to get rid of...but got voted back in? SEE!!! pot smokers... Ok yeah the state of Kalifornika is outlawing ALL semi- auto firearms. It's amazing, we will have states welcoming any firearms owners and some who will banish firearms owners. Well at least the states with firearms will not have to worry about drug dealers sticking around when it will be much easier to sell pot in states like California without having to worry about getting shot at so much. Peace to the dealers and users, keep a dome on that hollow over there so we don't all get high on the westerlies. Sorry about that Stan, you have a very beautiful state to live in and you do live in a niche that is relatively sane there. Similar in our two states that have the upstate and downstate mentalities.
  2. Nice Rob! Alternative rock man pickin up my guitar now...or maybe a rod...now I'm confused, both are favorites Mark

  4. John, you have let the "CAT" out of the bag. I been workin on this truck in the garage but haven't figured how ta git enough fuel surcharge ta offset the 12 gallons to the quarter mile! Cab is designed fer more co-drivers so runnin outta hours won't be a problem... Tom, that actually came to mind one day when my pickup was in the Ford garage over a weekend and there was the KW sittin there...almost welded a ball hitch to the rear frame cross member cause I wanted to take my boat out so bad. Instead I called my friend Art, and all he had was a 1989 Ford with a 6.9 diesel, standard tranny and no emergency brake. Shouldda stuck to plan A. I NOW know why people launch their tow vehicle at the ramp! Got a much tighter sphincter now This should meet the size and power requirements...next project!
  5. probably ordering extra oxygen in his NITROX mix too!....
  6. That's just too funny! Q: I own a gun that I use for hunting, is it an assault weapon? A: Most guns that are used for hunting are not assault weapons and are not affected by this law. Typical shotguns and hunting rifles are exempt as the law specifies military style assault weapons by design characteristics. For example, any pump, lever, or bolt action shotgun or rifle cannot be an assault weapon. To confirm that your rifle is not an assault weapon and to see common models and characteristics click here. OK, I own a Barret Bolt action MRAD .338 Lapua magnum, so even though it is black, has a ten round magazine and receiver grip, adjustable stock, it is just a hunting rifle....COOL! How come it's not on the list ANYWHERE! OH..That's right .."not exhaustive" got it! Q: If I modify my gun by removing all design characteristics that makes it an assault weapon, do I have to register it? A: No. If you modify your gun so that it is not an assault weapon, you do not have to register it. The modification must be permanent however. This includes, for example, removing the bayonet lug by cutting or grinding, grinding off the threads on the barrel, removing the fore grip so that it cannot be readily reattached, or any change that cannot be reversed through reasonable means. OK, so if I do this, and put pretty walnut wood fore end and stock on it, engrave the receiver in gold fill, but it still functions exactly like it did before doing this, it is now not an assault weapon? What the he!!? Q: I own a handgun, is that an assault weapon? A: Most handguns are not assault weapons and are not affected by this law. A traditionally designed handgun is not an assault weapon. For example a single shot pistol or a revolver cannot be an assault weapon. OK, so I can't have more than seven rounds in a magazine, therefore I'm limited to buying only magnum caliber hand guns such as revolvers that chamber .357, .41, .44, .454 casul, .500 S&W. or an auto that chambers .45 ACP. Well guess that pretty much rules out something for the little woman to use! ...what the heck is "traditionally"...isn't that descriptive of what was normal? Q: (this is for dealers) If I sell ammunition, can I keep selling it? A: Yes. Currently the law does not add any obligations on sellers. Sellers of ammunition will have to register by January 15, 2014. A form will be made available and you will not need to appear in person or wait for a background check. OK, I thought this applied to anyone wanting to purchase ammo?...dealers are going to sell it to me after they do a registration? HUH?..what happened to me BUYING ammo? I don't see that anywhere AT ALL! I could go on and on but I'll let someone else have fun with the rest of this STILL stupid obscure definition of an object, could be any object, used in.. "man caused disasters".. This is where that politically correct term actually has meaning. Mark
  7. Thanks Shawn, I like the illustration, I just wish one of those rifles illustrated a broader spectrum of sporting arms was an old remington 742, 7400, 750 along with the MSR. They are the same functioning rifles we all should know that have evolved astheticly like a model t to a Mustang Cobra GT. [ Post made via Android ]

  10. Can't give up Mikey! There is plenty to negotiate with in this law and of course it will be sued against at this point, it is the process that was suppose to be in place in judicial review that was circumvented and now must go to review in a class action suit. At least here if at state level it is ruled still law then it can go higher, and yes a petition carried by your representing officials is symbolic. They couldn't go to your defense with nobody in agreement that the law needs refinement. We don't expect to win everything, but there are considerations the courts will take in lieu of some parts of the law and give some repeal. If not, then you can admit defeat and in that case defeat is at the shores of the United States. This is not just a battle in NY, running to another state is eventually going to be futile, just look in your neighboring states of Connecticut, and New Jersey for the latest gun legislation. Don't believe for a moment that the libs aren't chomping the bit to use NY as a model. Don't forget who's in Washington in control waiting to see us citizens fail to stand for our rights, the ones who fought for those rights, lost arms and legs, so that we shouldn't give anyone ours for our liberties. 11. It's intresting Shawn in the excerpt of the letter from the Green Beret, the mention of the Sheriff Cantrel story in Tennessee. Apparently this is where they feel confident in their own state constitution and civil bill of rights! Here is a bill offered by senate assembly members of the State of Tennessee in response to federal rule on firearms. IMHO, I wish NY had a provision in its constitution, but it is only in the bill of rights, which is more STRONGLY worded as "cannot" infringe as opposed to "shall not" infringe. There is a bill.. http://open.nysenate.gov/legislation/bill/s1427-2011.. to make the amendment to the NY constitution and it has passed judicial vote and presented to committee of rules on June 21st 2012, but that is where it has sat without further considerations. An apparent stonewall of the democratic process to make a full and real law when possible. In their back door deal at the midnight hour they pass law on all of us without proper hearings and rest before senate and judicial review. Anybody can guess why without much thought. However, please read on to see how a state should protect It's self from a bent takeover of civil rights. In the state of Tennessee: “The general assembly declares that any federal action prohibited by this chapter relating to firearms, firearms accessories or ammunition, whether made in Tennessee or not, is not authorized by the United States constitution and violates the restrictions contained therein and is hereby declared to be invalid in this state; that said federal action shall not be recognized by this state; and that said federal action is rejected by this state and shall be null and void and of no effect in this state.†Today, Rep. Joe Carr unveiled his legislation to protect Tennesseans against a potential gun ban or registration scheme out of Washington, DC. Sen. Joey Hensley has agreed to carry the bill in the Senate. The new Tennessee bill is a verbatim copy of an earlier version of the Wyoming bill currently pending before their state legislature. Tennessee’s HB 0042 provides for misdemeanor penalties like the earlier version of the Wyoming bill. Because Rep. Carr specifically told the Tennessee Tenth Amendment Center that he feels it is important that the states pass exactly the same bill with exactly the same verbiage, he is looking at filing an amendment to match to the latest version of the Wyoming legislation. The bill, which is fully endorsed by the Tennessee Firearms Association, was specifically written to cover all of the points in the model legislation released by the Tennessee Tenth Amendment Center and more. It will block all of the following federal attempts at firearms regulation with Class B felony criminal penalties: (1) Infringe on, ban, regulate, or restrict state government, local government or civilian ownership, transfer, possession or manufacture of a firearm, a firearm accessory or ammunition in this state; (2) Require any state government, local government or civilian owned firearm, firearm accessory, or ammunition in this state to be registered or tracked in any manner; or (3) Impose federal taxes, fees or any other charges on any state government, local government or civilian owned firearm, firearm accessory, or ammunition that are payable to any government entity. Should any Tennesseans be prosecuted by the federal government for alleged firearms-related crimes, SB 0250/HB 0248 provides for this scenario as well. The attorney general is authorized to provide defense for the accused and work to invalidate or nullify such federal actions. [ Post made via Android ]
  12. http://www.westhartfordnews.com/article ... 450519.txt This is why moving to another state will not let you escape a government evading democratic process. Copy NY imperialists lead ....Connecticut ...pass legislation behind closed doors and keep fingerprints of due process out of the way to keep their offices. Hope Cuomo is brought back to Earth. Stay and fight the precedents and don't retreat from home. This is where the front is. Defeat the Cuomo, it will take time, the courts are waiting for a strongly proposed legal defense for the law abiding citizenship of NY. Too bad for any government that rushes to copy NY before the law is reviewed...but maybe all the better...show their real colors, and be gone. QUOTE ... "Looney, who has been leading gun control efforts in the Democratic-dominated Connecticut Senate, recently has announced that a bill addressing the slaughter in Sandy Hook will bypass the usual public hearing process and be sent to the governor for his signature though an emergency certification process, a strategy that will obviate legislative oversight and leave no unsightly fingerprints on a final bill produced in General Assembly back rooms by legislative leaders. Too many fingerprints on legislation might imperil re-election efforts by removing vague assertions of approval. The Looney gambit can only succeed by enlisting the support of a governor armed with veto power." [ Post made via Android ]

  16. Please pass this on http://scopeny.org/ Message from S.C.O.P.E HERE IS A LIST OF SPONSORED BUSES AND INFO ON SPONSORS FOR THE RIDE AND SEAT RESERVATIONS ...CLICK LINK. http://scopeny.org/unite_for_our_rights.html UNITE FOR OUR RIGHTS February 28th - Albany The SAFE ACT MUST GO!! Assembly Representative Bill Nojay, is asking gun owners across the state to come to Albany on February 28th. SCOPE will be doing everything in its power to support this effort. The time has come to unite for the fight. Hunters, Archers, Clay Bird Shooters, Bench Rest, Military Match, Practical Police, Bulls eye and all shooters, collectors, pistol permit holders, and just good well informed citizens, this the time to unite! This is not the time for division and petty bickering. Our opponents are actively trying to divide us into groups and sub groups. We can not let them succeed. We are being called to Albany on February 28th to make our voices heard as one united coalition. The Governors SAFE ACT does nothing to keep anyone safe. It does put onerous and restrictive regulations on law abiding, tax paying citizens that are being singled out by a small minority with an agenda that can only be labeled as dubious. SCOPE Chapters in upstate are in the process of reserving buses for the trek to Albany. The time is now to make arrangements at work for the day off. Mark your calendars today! Take the wife and kids. Talk it up at your club and gather a contingent that can make the trip. If you absolutely can't make it that day, donate to a Bus Trip so others can. Ask your club to make a donation. Business leaders and other political organizations can help SCOPE defray the cost of the buses too. We have to stop the divisive tactics of the anti-2A crowd. SCOPE has learned that the Governor’s Chief of Staff Joshua Vlasto wants to approach sportsmen’s groups and explain why he feels that the SAFE Act will not affect sportsmen that much. (His words - not ours.) His strategy is to divide and conquer. We cannot let them convince the duck hunter, goose hunter, skeet shooter or angler to say: “Let them turn in their AR-15's, I don't have one so why should I care.†We (gun owners) must unite and stay united!!!! We are hearing that the Democratic Legislators are surprised by the negative reaction to their "Yes" vote for the Governors Bill. REALLY??? Anyone that admits surprise by our reaction, demonstrates just how out of touch they are. The Republicans that voted "Yes" are spinning their ill informed decision to no avail. They might as well be saying “They wanted to chop off your arm, but because of my negotiations they will only be allowed them to chop off your hand.†We need to keep up the pressure with letters - phone calls, faxes and emails starting now. We will then follow up with a personal visit on February 28th. Please go to your upcoming Conservation Club meeting and talk about sending members from each club to Albany. Maybe your club will sponsor their own bus or make a donation for SCOPE Buses. Start today! Go to the legislative Action Center of SCOPE and send a message of thanks to the legislators that voted “Noâ€, and let the governor’s lackeys know your displeasure for their middle-of-the-night secret negotiations and midnight vote. It only takes a few clicks. If you or your club is sponsoring a bus to Albany, let SCOPE know the details and we will post it on our web site. Federation of Erie County Sportsmen Club is also sponsoring a bus. More buses will be planned in other cities. We need support and riders in Batavia - Rochester -Henrietta - Syracuse - etc. This is an important time to unite. We have to show the detached politicians in Albany that the choice they made to ignore us and subjugate us to gain favor from the likes of Andrew Cuomo and Michael Bloomberg was a very bad political decision. Actions you can do now: Let your Statewide Democratic and Republican Party's know that you as a gun owner will not be contributing anything until the S.A.F.E Act is repealed. Keep up the pressure on those that voted to strip you of your rights. Use our tool to send a "thank you" the Law Makers that voted Against the SAFE ACT! Next, Keep up the Pressure on those that Voted For the Bill! Tell them to repeal the Bill! Our tool will do all the work for you. Stay tuned for more developing details at SCOPENY.ORG or on our Facebook. Please forward this to all of your friends and family. Stay Informed with SCOPE Club Support of SCOPE Needed Please have someone give a SCOPE Report at your monthly meetings. Your Club can Join or Renew here. Did you know that the Board of Directors will help you start a chapter in your county [ Post made via Android ]

  18. Yup, outriggers work good with them . Be careful of Sharp turns, inside outrigger just about stalls the pull. Dipsy can spin down cause a wrap up. That is why I use two braids for dipsy on out riggers it works. [ Post made via Android ]
  19. There is only one braid I have had no issues with and that is Fireline Fused Original..smoke color. Wire is best to reduce fleas but this braid does just as well without the kink fears. 30 lb or 40 will work. It has slick qualities and keeps the little flea bastards off. [ Post made via Android ]
  20. Taken from that USA today an excerpt... "In the current climate, we felt that the presence of modern sporting rifles would distract from the theme of hunting and fishing, disrupting the broader experience of our guests," the company said in a statement. Holy...What happened to the nomenclature of the style of rifle...I thought they were only banning "ASSAULT WEAPONS" .. and now they think they want to wait till this debate clarifies so they can come back...stay in England, and promote your gun ban already in place. See how you do there. Don't go away mad...just go away. The show is open for production by a USA enterprise. [ Post made via Android ]
  21. You try to do things legislatively and justifyably (not words) but means what it states. When that fails to the end of justice, then our system of democracy has failed, and the government cannot protect you anymore when it is broke and the US DOLLAR is not a player in the world economy. Programs for the subsistence of "dependent" citizens will cease. Energy costs will escalate due to the falling dollar. What happens next is survival of the fittest and anarchy in the cities that depend on the failed government. 21 trillion is the predicted fail point. Impeachment is the short answer. The oaths of office are being lied upon on the bible. Cuomo is a hypocritical spawn of Satan. Promotes murder of unborn children while saying he's making school children safer. Pure bunk. Recall and impeach. [ Post made via Android ]
