  1. Poor sucker on duty here! I need a job fishing!
  2. Our salmon Tuesday night came at sunset. You could see them coming off the bottom on the fish finder. The lat few weeks we've had a lot of fish come off the bottom to look and then go right back down...that's when it's time to change presentation and find what will trigger a strike. Fish the temp, watch your speed, and give 'em what they want to eat. It has been a tough year as Nick said. Hang in there and make sure your tackle is up to par! I'd hate to hear your kids lost a big one!
  3. Makes a great place to filet fish! But you do not want this boat! Hans needs to keep it so he can take me fishing!
  4. Did Rich ever get that video uploaded from the 10-color surprise? Josh is a riot..would have been fun to have him aboard last weekend.

  11. Went out for a couple hours after lunch. Started out in shallow marking a ton of bait and fish in 45 fow. One pass through showed me those fish had lockjaw or didn't like my spread. I slid out to 90 fow and picked lakers off the bottom with a showtime blue spinny and green fly on the 80' rigger. Green dolphin parked at 40' took a couple salmon. 5/6 (lost a salmon trying to lift in the boat without the net).
  12. Awesome! I know exactly what you mean. I had a co-worker turn me on to this site and it completly changed my game along with meeting some good fishing buddies who have become good friends. Thanks to the veterans of this board who have made it what it is today!
  13. Manuals will work just fine. If you are lazy like me you will get sick of cranking the handles after sending the rigger down 100 ft and having a false release!
  14. Way later is now lol! Tried perchin this am but my youngest and oldest get motion sickness so was short lived. We did manage to get 1 before quitting.
  15. We'll be here unil the 6th. lake is looking inviting right now but I have a request to go to the "donut store". Guess i'll have to wait!
  16. Rabbit, that is exactly why I booked the cottage for a couple weeks. Build the memories ow bbecause it is going way too fast! Kevin, Weeds weren't too bad. There is a lot of scattered junk on the surface but I didn't run into any patches. Ran the walleye boards to catch the weeds for my junk lines. We only did the one fish...had to run it in to sshow mom an sisters! It tasted good along with some venison backstraps for supper. -Jason
