I hadn't thought about pricing them seperately....any suggestions? I put it out by the road today with $2200 on the sign. It's an '88 with a '91 70HP Evinrude
-
A buddy of mine has a cottage toward the north end and he caught 50 in a couple hours of the dock.

I have a 16 1/2 ft Sea Nymph Fish-n-Ski that I'm getting ready to sell. It has a 91 70HP Evinrude that I could sell seperately if you just wanted the boat. It is an open bow with livewell under driver seat.

90 DEGREE FLUSH MOUNT HOLDERS
Zebedee replied to Zebedee's topic in Classifieds - Buy, Sell, Trade or Rent
How much? -
Friday Family day got cancelled with a "Oops I forgot I had a doctor's appt." Called up a buddy and we hit the North end of Seneca at 10:30. Went 5/6 on Green and silver Spin Dr. and Glow green G-Fly. 3 were nice and gerthy. One still had a sawbelly in it's mouth. Riggers were 75-90 down over 80-150 FOW (little bit of a zig-zag)....off the water by 12:30 to go to work

Can I see some pics? I thought Outrigger holders were usually at an angle? -

How'd you do out there? -
I hopped on Upgrady to fish out of I-Bay and we took a boat ride. Marked quite a few but couldn't get anything to hit. Threw everything at em. I saw you posted your number for Olcott Thursday, but I have to work at 2:00 in Clyde and mapquest says it's a 2 hr ride. But I hope you throw one on the Board!
-
I may be available as well. I work nights in Clyde so if you break for lunch, I could bail out then. Would be good to see how it's done.

Was out Sat. AM with my Dad to celebrate his Birthday. Caught a 7 1/2 Laker on the South to North turn. Talked my Dad into cruisin up to Sodus Point for some Kings but took a bumpy boat ride. I will say it is nice having a radio now. I hit up Channel 8 and got the location of the charters. Felt like a proud terrier running with the Big Dogs. Working 200 FOW marked quite a few but couldn't pick any up. I don't have a down/temp unit yet and with the wind on Sat. I'm sure that was half the battle.

My oldest of 3 daughters is now 4 1/2 and has been asking about fishing.....I took her out this last weekend for a short boat ride and she seemed to enjoy it. I'll know more a month or 2 from now if she can hang for a morning of fishing, but it would be great to get her out!

Been thinking about a good way to mount my Planar Board Reels. I got some with the boat but was not impressed with the mounts. Also, the Amish guy who made my canvas designed the support bar to block the mount. Moral of the story....I need two. Also need 2 decent Rod holders for my wire divers. I currently have a ball/socket type mounted on each side but they can't hang with the tension from those magnum dipseys

Yeah my Dad caught a 8 1/2 laker last Saturday that was real wide as well. I cut the 10 1/2 open and it was full of sawbellys along with a couple small minnows (fatheads maybe?) We'll be going out tomorrow. It's my Dad's birthday and he wants to fish Seneca....with the south wind forecasted, I'm trying to persuade him into the LOC. I haven't been up there yet this year.....BTW, Ray...what channel are you usually on in the Memorial weekend derby?
-
Sorry....that was north end of Seneca. I haven't yet trailered over to Cayuga yet this year.

I have a friend of mine that came back to the states from Argentina after 15 years that I was able to take fishing and went 6/8 on a South troll. He likes to git the streams once in awhile but it was a blast watching him hook up with this 10 1/2 Lb, 29 1/2" laker. 3 on a Silver pro-troll/Glow Fly and 3 on a Green and silver Spin Dr/green fly.
-
I found it thanks. I notice he has the flashers labeled Starboard and Port. Do they kick out accordingly? Or do they just circle like a Pro-Troll flasher? BTW-Picked up an 8 1/2 pounder Saturday morning. 88 FOW 80 down 10 back on a Green/Silver Pro-Troll with a Green G-Fly. Itr was short but Gerthy. Also picked up a smaller 4 #er to go 2/2 Sat AM

Nice post ERABBIT. I'm going to head out from the state park at the North end in the morning. Just curious....what's a BTI? I assume this is a brand of Flasher/fly program.

Took a boat ride today. Started at about 8:30 at the Belhurst hole trolling south. Focused 80-120 FOW. 2.7 MPH GPS Ran 2 divers (1 Glow-fly/1 Blue&Green Alpeena diamond) 150-200 lc on a 2 1/2 setting. Riggers down 80-90 with stackers down 25-40. Green and silver Pro-troll with Glow-green fly, Blue dolphin fly, NK 28 Watermelon, Orange crush...Nothing was workin. Pulled in at Kashong and zipped across lake and trolled north pass high-banks to the pumphouse. Nice day to be on the water., :?

Zebedee replied to ray koziatek's topic in New York Fishing Reports - Lake Ontario (South Shore)
Ray, do you have 2 boats, or do you trailer back and forth? -
Barry's used to carry them in Waterloo but they went out of business over the winter. What other local tackle shops are around?

Finally made the shake-down cruise Sat. My Dad checked the prop, oil, & plugs on the kicker before going out, He's been great! He helped me wire a new dash panel with all new gages, circuit-breaker panel (I've had it with fuses!), and do a tune-up on the I/O Engine. So Sat. we launch at the Seneca Lake state park and set-up just North of the Pumphouse. I kill the engine and drop the kicker, Fire's on the 2nd pull, I put her in gear and watch as my prop sinks to the bottom! So I fire the big engine back up :? "Hey Jay" my dad says, "where's the line releases?" "Uhhhhhh aren't they in the boat?" Oh well, so I got to check out my new wire-divers and went 1/1 on 5# laker. Magnum glow dipsey/Glow G-fly, 0 setting, 100 lc, 118 FOW It felt good to get on the lake even though it wasn't the greatest start!

I have some Cannons with short arms on a swivel gimbal mount. They aren't too bad if I run straight back, but when I swivel to the side I started getting cracks in my gelcoat.

Sounds like fun! The only possible hitch is my anniversary is the 8th.....if my wife finds out there's a derby the week before, she's likely to schedule some Bed-n-Breakfast or something....and after ten years it's more Breakfast than bed!

Rainbows??? Maxwell
Zebedee replied to jeremycecce#1's topic in New York Fishing Reports - Lake Ontario (South Shore)
I don't know but a buddy at work said he tumbled about 30' through the rapids when his foot slipped on a rock!!!!! Priceless!.....Ooops! Sorry Jeremy....didn't realize that was you! -
A couple questions....Does the laker usually stay hooked while waiting for you to reel in the dipsey? Also....do you usually reel in both sides? I put together a couple of wire set-ups and am anxious to check them out. Was hoping for a shakedown cruise Sat. afternoon. I started a project of installing a new dash-panel with new gages and switches.....a little more than what I bargained for....was kind of like plumbing..more trips to the store for right connectors, switches, drill bits, etc. Started Sat. AM and wasn't done Sun. night. Of course wife still gets mad b/c I'm spending time with the boat and not her and kids. I keep telling myself it will be worth it!
