  1. HAPPY BIRTHDAY Jason!
  2. ERABBIT, thanks for the info. I knew about BPS and Cabela's (limited selection).....didnt know about theoutdoorworld site .....thanks
  3. if you ever run across Luhr Jensen "needlefish" spoons in your travels .....give me a shout
  4. Split, I'm in.....missed out last year. Hopefully the wheather is on my side to get my 15fter out on the lake.I think the BBQ after is a great idea.....I'd like to contribute to it ,although not knowing what to bring....would it be possible to pitch in monetarily wise , to go towards the BBQ?
  5. check out www.marinegeneral.com
  6. Luhr Jensen...."Diamond King" spoon. You can still find them for now....maybe some of the other members could help you locate some. I've seen'em at Cabelas and BPS. Can't really say what Luhr Jensen is going to up to in the future though.
  7. There is a team from the above list that even 3 rods/person wouldn't be enough. Can anyone guess who that might be? Boy.....I didnt see that one coming Way to go Zeke!
  8. What would (do you think) would be the typ. length rod everyone uses. I'm thinking fishing Salmon R. and Oswego I'd might opt for a 13-0 rod, but fishing little tribs. I'm thinking 11-6. Do you think they make them shorter? I'm guessing the one of the rods purpose is to keep line off the water to aid in the drift. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
  9. Where would I be able to check out one of those reels?
  10. I'm a beginner when it comes to this FORM of fishing....not to fishing for steelhead or salmon. I'm interested in it and would like to try it......I mainly fish the small tribs. occasionally hit the bigger tribs. I'm having a hard time deciding on what length of rod to buy. I've come across lengths from 11'-6" to 15'-0". I cant see buying anything longer than 11'-6" to fish small tribs....then there are the reels any suggestions? A local sport shop has a combo consisting of a choice of various length rods (Browning "Six Rivers" float rod ) and an Okuma (Adventa)reel?...for a couple hundred bucks......would this be a good beginner set-up. Not sure if I want to dump a ton of money into it just yet. I know there's some pinners on this site.....help a rookie out Thanks
  11. Sorry about the fish......thanks for the report on the line though. I've had real good luck with p-line.
  12. I vote atlantic........based solely on the picture. Here's two similiar size fish, they easily could be mistaken for one another. They're both silver and both have black spots. If the picture included the rest of the fish it would be easier to tell them apart. Based on the graphic above, you'll be able to figure out which is which.
  13. Its made for (1) person to fish out of. Theres plenty of room for one. If you have a little buddy like I do they'll fit in it just fine. The sliding bench seat is 10"x 25"......you have a max of roughly 33" width between struts.
  14. Is it possible to order other colors of tape thru you than you show on your site?
  15. What size dipsey and setting were you running? Any color dipsey you prefer over the others?
  16. I purchased these at $250.00 a pop.....keep in mind though that these were the original models....they didnt offer anything else at the time. Back then it was an investment for me.....which for me warrants to take good care of it as I do all my stuff. Its in GREAT shape.
  17. Actually you were right on all three guesses Your 3rd guess, (I would assume) it would come in handy if you're in the middle of some frozen lake and you have to launch a mud missle .....but its main function is as an ice-fishing shelter.
  18. Thats why you NEED one of these!
  19. Ever do any ICE FISHING?
  20. I have (1) in REAL GOOD condition.......$125.00 Its the original (first) version that was produced. I'm located in Auburn....interested? p.m. me. Thanks
  21. I'll take the plate (bracket)....you've got a p.m. Thanks
  22. Here's a pic of the color
  23. Dicks Sporting Goods was carrying X-raps in that color too. Only saw the #10 in a deep diving model though.
  24. Looking to pick up (1) of these.........its the bracket without the ball cradle. I purchased (2) captains pack riggers.....they came with one rod holder and the ball cradle bracket. I wanted (2) more rod holders....so I bought a dual rod holder set with (plain) bracket, cause it was cheaper than buying (2) seperate rod holders. Started changing things around on the boat.......figured out that the ball cradle bracket dosent allow me to adjust the rod holders the way I want... remembered I had a plain dual mount rod holder bracket....now I need another one.......figured if anyone had one laying around I'd sure apprciate it.
