  5. i usually don't go until later in the year but you got the jist of it. I fish out by the buoys with hareness' and bottom bouncers. I use big 2oz bottom bouncers and troll slow at 1.2 to 1.6. Last year i fished mostly over 30 plus fow and limited out every time i went. Again i go later in the year when the water warms up. also yes i fished mostly east from sylvan at buoy 109 to buoy 119 i am going the weekend of the 13th if you go out then and have a radio let me know

  7. State launch all the way. don't bother with the north end. I have always caught them jigging with black and purple bucktails tipped with a crawler.
  8. so dam tempting, you want to trade for a 16 footer
  9. Did ok in 5 hours of trolling last night, Didn't save any fisherman that tipped their canoe but picked up a 30in northern and nice 23 in 5lb eye. She would have tasted pretty good but i put her back in the drink to hopefully go have 1500 babies hopefully. Both fish came off of floating raps in 10fow
  10. wwiv, They actually told me they almost went with out them because their friend borrowed them. Luckily they went over and picked them up before they went out.
  11. went out to troll for some eyes on mon night, Boy did we suck! went of 0 for 3. I think we had pike or tiger musky's on for all three. I had crappy line on and of course my first big hit two tugs and gone felt big anyway. The excitement from the night didn't come from the fish though!!! Around midnight heard some guys screaming for help but no boat lights.... We started to head in the direction and the screams got louder and louder but i couldn't see a boat. Then all of a sudden we were right on top of two guys in life jackets that tipped their canoe. They had been treading water for 45 minutes to an hour when i got there. The one guy was so exhausted and on the verge of hypothermia, it took me and my buddy to pull him in the boat. The other guy was doing better but not much. Anyway got em into shore and towed there canoe in. When we got there two people were on the deck and wipped them right into their home and got them in the shower and covered with some blankets. We were one in like three boats out last night, Thank god we were in the right place at the right time. no fish but something that i will remember forever. Stay safe out there!
  12. i thought that boat was to good to be true....or to good to be not sold
  13. 31 ft baha at the bottom of walleye.com is from that area.
  14. don't know what you are looking to spend but on this website there are a couple killer baha's. http://www.walleye.com/boatads.htm Also if you are looking for a penn yan this site is great! http://www.pennyanboats.com/fiberglass.htm
  15. pj, check out the local craigslist in rochester and syracuse, lots of boats there. Also walleye.com has a boats for sale section and also do a search for penn yan brokerage, good deals on there too! good luck
  16. price??? pics???

  18. I saw ya mark, i gave you a shout. I was on 8
  19. shipbuilders is east of irondequoit bay, We did a long troll.
  20. Was out on thumb burn's boat today. Got out of the genny at 6 am and headed east to the bay and ship builders and then back again. Waste of gas cause we didn't move a rod until almost back to the genny when we picked up two cookie cutters. Found good water west of the genny and proceeded to troll from russell to bradocks ALL DAY long. Nice 11 hour troll will do a man well. I guess you could call it a mixed bag of fish with overall going 12 for 16 with 9 browns a steelie and two huge small mouths. We did end the day with a triple but we thought we lost the last fish and while reeling it in thumb burn's says i think we still got that fish and we see a nice 1lb perch skipping across the top. Best bite was on a clown grandma and black and silver crystal minnow 150 and 200 back on the boards. Oh yeah did the small mouth's this year do a little juice or what??? They must be eating well on those golby's
  21. i believe it was sold
