Hey Rod ...... I use the 20 pound wire that A-Tom-mik has I usually troll 1.7mph I noticed at that speed 1 foot out is 1foot down to 50 feet and then it seems to go a little more I can see the diver on the graph then the blowback takes it out of the cone .... I know one thing ,you can feel the fish blink with the 20# ,but I never used the 30# though ..... [ Post made via Mobile Device ]

Mark, I wonder why that is. It seems like there shouldn't be a difference between wire and copper other than the depth achieved. do you have a wire diver set up ?????

I don't believe you want to run a Dipsy on the COPPER ......You want to run Divers on wire line 20-30# here is some info on copper http://www.optitackle.com/copperssline.shtml

if you give DW a call im sure they will paint you up whatever you like... i have had DW paint me up some custom 8in spinnys on more than one occasion Willie at Dreamweaver will paint you anything you want .......

20 inch leader.....off the riggers 15 foot lead and off wire , I was setting 285 feet back over 150 feet of water ......I hope that helps

Ray ....you sure I am not your brother .....as I have the same memories as you except , my first boat was a blow up orange raft that we took to the river in March , floated for a few minutes , then we swam for shore , i remember walking home through the cow pasture too cold to run from the bull with our pants frozen stiff , never as much as got the sniffles that year ....oh those were the days
