I can certify that they are the same and by the way Brunswick has bought Navico so Lowrance, Simrad and B&G (sailing ). The AP Nac-1 and Nac-2 are available with Lowrance and Simrad.
If you are using Lowrance or Simrad formtour electronics then the Nac1 will be ideal, it comes with everything even the hydraulic oil and very easy to install.
I have mine for over 10 years , fish 4-5 times per season from April to November.

I'm a Lowrance user so I'm running a Lowrance Nac-1 since they put it on the market more then 10 years now and I use it only for trolling and it suits my need.
The 1hr film has been produce by a Canadian organization and it’s restricted for the Canadian viewers unfortunately. It should be available later for the Americans viewer soon. Its the same for somemof auS productions that only for the US residents, that’s why I use a VPN so I can watch anything I want.
I just spoke with a friend of mine that run a charter for over 15 years on The Memphremagog and he is also a biologist and he confirm that there is no alewives. Salmon are feeding on smelt and a little bit on small baret (not sure about the name in English)
Salmon, lakers, brown trout fishing are excellent on the Memphre even with the high pressure and many charters. I know personnel 3 charters on the lake and they never report any alewives in the lake, there is a abundant smelt population and a excellent water quality.
The Quebecers thanks Vermont Fish and Wildlife for maintaining such a quality fishery.
I use the new 333 from Scotty and I’m very satisfied. Price is right also.
