  1. You won't be able; sonarcart are really meant for fishing over specific structures and to navigate you use nautical chart
  2. are you sure that you Don't have any magnetic interference? Do you have a RC-42 for compass?

  4. Elite are not in the stores. They stop making them 3-4 years ago; you probably mix them with the Elite Ti and the Ti are not subject to this.

This is a major improvement when using the map and more specifically when going fast Release Date: 26 October 2016 Version: 6.0 Lowrance is pleased to announce the release of new software for Elite HDI, Elite CHIRP and Mark-4 units. This upgrade is designed to improve mapping/chart redraw speeds when using the map at tighter zoom ranges, while driving the boat at higher speeds. Benefits of improved chart redraw speeds include: Improves the user experience and increase overall redraw speed, changes have been made in the way charts are loaded and stored in memory. Zoom range (less than 1 mi. zoom scale) performance at higher vessel speeds has been greatly improved.
  8. I do have a Lowrance ap and I'm more then happy with it. The Ti can't run the AP but the Gen2, Gen3 and carbon can. There is some very good deal on the Gen-3 and the Carbon. You can also look at the Simrad GO. The Simrad GO is the counterpart of the TI but the GO can run the ap
  9. No, you don't loose anything and you can still use the logs that are on youre card.

What you are loosing is: daily updates dock to dock autorouting SonarChart Live Plotter sync Advance options: Highlight shallow areas, adjust contour density and select a fishing range There is no mention of loosing datas, contours etc... What you loose is listed on the post
  12. I’m cleaning up some stuff for the season coming and I want to go around Oswego for some browns. I have a few Smithwick suspending super Rogue and I would like to know if they are any good for the browns?
  13. Same here with the Lowrance AP. I use to run Raymarine before Lowrance came-up with the NAC-1 and it's day and night. The best AP I ever run.
