I suspect that you have a 83/200 To find out about the one youre running just check near the blue connector on the transducer cable there is a aluminium label with the model written on it. If you read HST-WSBL it is a 83/200

What are you lookig to "see" on the network? You won't be able to share map between the 2 because the Gen1 doesn't work with sharing map. Networking with a ethernet cable you will be able to share waypoints and sonar

The Elite9 Chirp comes with a 83/200/455/800 or a 50/200/455/800. For the inland water the 83/200/455/800 is perfect and you will be able to "Chirp" at Meium and High frequency. That $300 rebate is excellent and you will be getting a super unit. If you own a card from another company you can use a Navionics Update card to get a Navionics+ card. This is place since March 2015 The only difference between using a Navionics Update card with a older Navionics card version is: you can use any other brands that are list on my 1st post and you will be ending with a Navionics+ and you are still own you're Bluechart or Insight or wathever.
