sucks too lose a rod i hung a ball on bottem this year and the rigger base snapped clean off 2 rods with spin D flys cannon 4ft boom rigger splash bye bye , at least my sub troll was on the other side , i think i would of killed my self if i lost that , lol 550 bucks gone, sucked bad but fishing was still good !

the amount of fish up at the falls is unreal , it could be this strange fall weather we have been having, i have no clue all i now is fish don"t seem too be stacked up at the peir heads but walk in too the falls or drive your boat up above the seth screen and walk from there and you will see with your eyes and if you dont want too walk just look off the north side of the driving park brigde , u cant miss em jumping and dark pods of them all over ! john

becouse they opened the falls up and the fish have been running the river for the last 4 or 5 day ! the falls are loaded up with fish

lol, i just say i"m killing em when i am catching a bunch of them ,always catch and release . As far as hunting goes i havent done much !............anyone know of a way i can catch a big buck and let it go now that would be a cool vidieo ! Ray i know your wheels are turning now! john

yep thats a female nice catch, east of the river cool i never seem too do well inbetween the river and the bay but as soon as i get east of Ibay things always pick up anyone ever have this same problem or poor luck, john

yes sounds like movie making time i did well yesterday too hooked 22 kings landing only 7 used some last years line and i was running low so i had too keep the drag tite so i didnt get spooled and was ablie too keep fishing , man i wish i was with you are you feeling better now ? let me now if you want too kill some kings and i am ready too make some steelie vidieos when you are ! john

i bay is still open and going but be carefull on the way out of the channel ,shallow spots and the river launch is at the end of lake ave on the right you should see sighs for it ,well about an 8th mile before the end , good luck

BEAR, i ended up running 6 j-plug"s 3 on each rigger 10 -7 -2 down on one side and 9-3-1 down on the other side back 30 or 40 , makes for a nice school of j,s swimming behind the boat for them salmon too suck up , i also was thinking we would have done better if i fished in the river but i was thinking the fish moved out as the sun came up but they moved in and up the river instead anyways bear throw me your # i am alway looking for someone too fish with and my boat is outfiited pretty good. john

came out of the river as the sun was coming up with j-plugs 3 & 5 down 40 back, as we came around the pier heads we hooked a nice one in 18 fow, while i was battling the fish i looked back up the river and about ten boats were coming out and the combat fishing started was fun for a while then we head for russel station too see if we could pick up a brown or two but that didnt happen and we went back up the river, got past shumway hooked a screemer and it turned at the boat tommy was reeling as fast as he could & just as he was about too catch up with it ,the fish jumped 5 feet from the boat and said bye bye was super cool even now we lost him ! j-plugs where crome with bloody nose and a green one with orange bottem and black ladder back with the rattle, john

Ok i just got back from the oak ,before heading out i gave (ray K ) a call and he sent me out too the 27 line and said too use water mellon so having fished with him ,i did as he said got set up about 4pm and i put out all my water mellon - only have 3 of them, so i also put out a O-crush and a NBK- a mountain dew S/D and a W/ echip fly set up ! Well all the water mellon fired and nothing else switched things up too fire tiger and Monkey-P and a green echip fly set up, still nothing on them and that was all my hot stuff a few weeks ago. (TEMP) was down 90 over 400 F.O.W then we lost it and it was down 120 and the fish we pick up where down 95 & 105 anyways we went 4 for 4 3 bows & one two year old about 7lb . on are way in, there were 2 boats trolling in 10 to 20 FOW so i decieded too check it out and see what the screen looked like , made two passes and went around the wall and was marking only small fish ? so i don"t know where the big ones are i also have not heard of and big or major runs in the river, maybe ray K cought them all .lol john
