Great report, wish I could have stayed longer, but my new beagle pups need to get out into the woods. Hope to make it back out soon.
We had a blast out there for our first time to pulaski area.
Nice folks, met a ton of nice people! everyone was very helpful.
we ended up with three fish for three days. two kings and a brown.
Lost two screamers and had seven other nock offs.
We were just starting to dial them in when it was time to head home.
isn't that always the way it is.
Chrome echip with green tape with the little boy blue was our best , and green echip with glow green fly.
85 ft water, 75 down 2.7-3mph
lures 40ft back of the ball
good luck, and thanks
Buckshot
My uncle has been looking for a fishing boat in the 26-28ft range and hasn't had much luck. He would like it all set up for fishing. A used boat preferably.
If you could direct me to a few sites with boats in the area or if you know someone that is getting rid of a boat that would be great thanks and happy new year everyone.
Good luck in your winter adventures
Ben
We got chewed up. it was horrible. hope the state foggs the lake. lol
A can of raid would help. next time I will be fogging the little @$#$#@'s.
Good luck!
Hello Billy, Buckshot here, It was nice to meet you.
The fishing was deffinetly tuff for us. We ended up not catching much fish but we had a good time with great weather. The guys we met in the marina Shade tree and lobo and you are great guys. Good luck the rest of the summer and maybe we will be back in late august for another shot at the king of the salmon.
Back to champlain for us the landlock salmon bite is really hot right now.
with a ton of lakers mixed in.

I will be coming out with three groups of guys two of witch have never fished the big pond so it will deffinetly be an adventure. Our boat is a 25ft thompson the other two is a 19 and a 17. Our call name is Bomber so if you here us on 68 give me a shout.
I was hopping you guys on here could give me a heads up on how deep to start, and any other info you care to give would be awsome.
Thanks
Ben
I am headed for fairhaven wednesday, I was wondering if anyone had a good weather site that I could look at with the wind and wave action.
Thanks Buckshot
Thanks for the report, nice fish, We will be out next wednesday at the anchor resort for four days, cant wait.
We did 30 landlocked salmon this weekend on champlain that was a blast.
and one nice brown. salmon were 17-21 inch
Thats what makes a good fisherman, he never gives up and is always trying new stuff.
Nice work! I am sure your clients were happy. There is nothing worse than sitting on shore when you want to be fishing.
I thought it would be interesting to see what people go to lures are for browns as far as spoons or stick baits. I don't know that much about brown fishing but I usually get them on stick baits.
What do you guys think?
Hello Billy, We have a slip reserved for june 2 - 6 Cant wait to get out there. We have been fishing champlain for atlantic salmon and lakers. We got 5 salmon and 5 lakers last weekend.
What is the name of your boat? I will hopefully see you in person and get to say hello. you sound like you are on the water a lot and must keep a good eye on what the fish are up to.
To me that is the best key to catching fish. being on the water as much as possible.
Good luck and talk to you soon
Ben Birch
The Anchor resort, nice place, I be there in a couple of weeks for four days. cant wait!
Were the kings hitting anything special? How deep were you fishing?

Nice Job, Cdrift! Sounds like you were busy. lol
Does anyone have the link to find out the flows out of the power plant on the oswego river just befor it gets to the lake?
I was hoping to get out to oswego or fair haven this weekend. I only have a small fourteen foot boat. Would it be wiser to fish from shore rather than out in the lake. And if so is there fish to be caught off the break walls?
Thanks Buckshot(Ben)
