While duck hunting there this year the creek was up at least 2', hence high water in many spots and it happened beginning of November might have pushed deer out of normal areas. Also I live and hunt on Attica, deer have been nocturnal since crossbow or our armed like they were. Pretty much 95 percent of my trail cam pics are at night, even does. I had a Remington 1100 20ga smoothbore that would throw the Remington sluggers all over the target, turned out it loved Winchester slugs. I'm thinking it was the weight differences, I can't remember but they were just a little different in the slug weights. Ok thanks makes it a bit more reasonable. Plus more rocky up there so makes sense the closer distance. Sent from my SM-G930V using Lake Ontario United mobile app

Could not find anything saying that the 5 mph within 1000 ft was lifted? Anyone know? Going to Wellsley island later this week and if I have to stay below 5 mph within 1000 ft of shore it will take a long time to get anywhere. TIA.

When I worked for dec collecting botulism birds on lake erie I found a bunch of jet divers and other lures. Didn't know what the just divers were at that time. Wish I had kept them and painted them. Sent from my SM-G930V using Lake Ontario United mobile app

I have a depth raider and get more walleyes on the rigger with the probe, might be that I use my best baits on it. Sent from my SM-G930V using Lake Ontario United mobile app

Yeah thought it was pricey at Braddock Bay, last time I was there when we were pulling out there were two guys from the marina sort of directing traffic. It was still a cluster though, people pulling just out of the water to tie down and launching then putting stuff in the boat. Also they were not moving their boats to the end of the dock so another person could launch. I figured for the price they would have it together there. Line twisting around downrigger cable.

If I drop mine too fast it will twist, so a slow drop is best. I have Scotty riggers with torpedo weights. Sent from my SM-G930V using Lake Ontario United mobile app -

Draining wetlands, more impervious surfaces that do not allow water though only run off, drainage time that moves the water to streams faster also have an effect on lake levels. Plus more intense storms that dump multiple inches of rain down in minutes. Sent from my SM-G930V using Lake Ontario United mobile app

People who steal stuff from boats or trailers

https://www.machinerylubrication.com/Read/31067/grease-mixing-risks This is one site there are many others if you do a Google search. When mine failed the grease looked like a green puss, with a thin consistency. I had repacked them a month before then hit the bearing buddies with a synthetic grease. Once I looked at the two different types of grease I used then read about it, I knew what happened. Sent from my SM-G930V using Lake Ontario United mobile app -

I've also lost a bearing buddy/cap. I've also had a failure due to mixing different types of grease. I'd say anyone who trailers a boat will have a issue at sometime. Luckily when mine failed I was just outside Leroy and it was a Saturday so I could get parts. Sent from my SM-G930V using Lake Ontario United mobile app -

Hey Scott, are you trying to lime green bay or your new place? Some like places like kirsch's have smaller spreaders for use by small tractors and may let you use it for free if you buy a certain amount of lime. If you get ag lime I would go with 3 tons per acre, that's the max recommended at one time. It'll take 6 months to incorporate into the soil for the test to show.
