Yes. Do use braid between the wire and the mono? I am thinking the braid is somehow causing the line to twist. If have been using dipseys for a long time with no issues. I switched to slide divers because I did not want to hand line.

Using slide divers on 30 lb wire. I am connecting the 30lb leader to the wire using a length of 65lb braid. I am getting terrible line twist on my 30ft leader. I have placed a micro swivel where the braid and mono leader meet and a bead chain to terminate between the lure and the slide diver. The diver has a large ring and I usually run it on a 3 setting. Any ideas on how to stop the line twist? The twist occurs whether I am running a spoon or a flasher.

Does the Garmin 93sv on sale for $699 have the map of Lake Ontario preloaded or do you to buy a chip? Thanks for any info because I called Cabelas and they do not know and Garmin website has no info.
