  1. I don’t have the boat for it.
  2. When left alone they will columize like that. I have caught them 15’ down with a flasher fly down to the bottom. Enjoy!

  4. Eriebuck, fish those fish late afternoon into the evening and I think you will find them in a better mood.
  5. Looks like a silver leaf spoon iteration or knock-off
  6. I could never understand the chemical control of weeds. I don’t get it. If your dock is a little weeded in then get your swim trunks on and grab your dirt rake! If anything there should be banning of using fertilizer on any lawn on the water’s edge. The lake is plenty fertile from the farm runoff and the sewage treatment water storm water discharges.
  7. This might be the last year of pen reared kings? Someone correct me if wrong. I thought Wilson penned fish went to Olcott.
  8. It is taxing on the senses but if you are over staging fish you have to keep pounding them until they activate. If you leave the marks too early you will miss the bite windows. Set up in the dark in the morning and fish til 9 am. Go in and get breakfast and a nap then head out after lunch and fish til dark. If a front is approaching, make sure you are over marks as this usually activates the fish to bite. Give them a menu of all bait types as preference will change day to day and even mornings to evenings.
  9. 4 mile to the Canadian line on the bar probably has the most fish to play with
  10. It was getting bumpy when we left but totally fishable to start
  11. When we left the lake at 9:30 this morning she was iced out inside with no fish showing. Pier season should kick off tomorrow for those of you spoon chuckers
  12. Warm water has blown back in for now. I would think the lake will flip at some point. We went out in the 6 footers to check for marks and do a temp check and the fish are mostly gone from shallow water.
  13. We were into fish this evening in tight.
  14. Same for us today off Olcott. All week I am pulling out spoons, meat heads and jplug harnesses way down kings mouths. They were chewing. Today 1 for 4 in the morning then in for breakfast and then reset for offshore steelhead head. ZERO steelhead today over fantastic water with a midge hatch, bait, slick lines …..should have been perfect. Three hours and one release and maybe two hooks on the graph. The bite is off today.
  15. Tons of warm water but the stagers don’t care. We were catching in 71 degree water today.
  16. Lots of boating around nearby Conesus Lake. I would look there.
  17. And now he has your gps coordinates lol.
  18. It’s on the LOC board. 27 lbs and change.
  19. It shows the strength of steel! I feel better going over all the rusty bridges in our area after seeing that picture. Thanks for sharing as it is a good lesson for all.
  20. that is what an air horn is for
  21. How is the bite today with this NE’er?
  22. Sounds like he got caught with his pants down.
