  1. Who is chilled already lol? Making some bacon and watching Levi Morgan put an arrow in a sheep from 100 yards for the umpteenth time. Keep wiggling those toes!
  2. For the sake of all of us that order Asian food.....please don’t give any restaurant owners coyote meat.
  3. Somebody has been a good boy this year!
  4. Fisher claw?
  5. Nice persistence and respect to the quarry we chase! Nice deer also!
  6. what color is your neighbor’s dog?
  7. Perhaps the poor salmon and steelhead shape of 2014-2015 tough winters was from breakdown of tires from road salt/de-icing chemicals with additional sand aggregate flushing stuff into tribs.
  8. Oh....... is that all....WTF! Monster!
  9. Never tried. Then again I don’t want to get shot either.
  10. perhaps then you should try rattling rather than sitting still.
  11. Awesome
  12. Leave her. She has to teach the others that your field is a safe haven. Best buck bait out there. Shoot her in the ass with a paint ball loaded with doe n’heat.
  13. Good luck in the morning. Take your coffee with you, going to be cold.
  14. Last sit of the year today. A couple of does at 15 yards was all. Fun gun season grind this year but the only buck I saw was a spike. I was able to hunt nine different public land tracts and was able to find some big buck sign to target during bow season next year. I think my take away from the public land hunts is we probably would be better served to follow how some states have a simplified method of regulation- your license gets you one buck tag and one doe tag (with no DMP units to add to confusion). Also, the number of land owner tags available needs to be reduced. If a farmer needs more deer shot of their land, they can give permission to hunters looking for a place to hunt.
  15. Crazy location of brow tines! Congrats on a great buck!
  16. Four mile trek this morning in four inches of snow at Bush Hill state land and never cut a track. Frustrated. I am hoping COVID has not affected deer numbers. I am not seeing the typical deer numbers, not hearing shots, and have yet to see a deer on a car. Mild winters should have more critters out there https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.studyfinds.org/coronavirus-animals-high-risk/%3famp
  17. The other two front holes on the sled could be used with extra large zip ties to hold all four quarters through a cut tendon
  18. love it. Very rewarding. Finally have some tracking snow for the next two days. Just put together a deer quarters sled.
  19. Snow in south towns should help with deer take. Movement has been horrible since opener as indicated by the lack of shots.
  20. Your deer came pre-sliced like bread?
  21. They did have off but they would rather work. Opening day is their super bowl.
  22. Sad state of affairs. With DEC funding slashed and no overtime allowed, my buddy (off duty DEC officer) was not allowed to go onto overtime and the local DEC couldn’t come out because it would be considered overtime for him.....one road in and one road out. It would have been easy to stop everyone leaving. Best I could piece together from the barrages, gun A fired three rounds at a deer in normal succession. Deer ran by gun B and they fired three rounds. Gun A was unhappy that someone was encroaching on “his” spot and decided to scare everyone on the hill. 10 shot barrages as fast as you can pull trigger.
  23. If anyone have any information on the clown that shot 100 rounds tonight (with clearly illegal clip capacity) at Sonyea state forest starting at around 2:30 this afternoon please PM me. Thanks.
  24. Wow!
  25. Nothing better than the real thing. Sounds like you don’t need a doe decoy.
