  1. Russian bots make their appearance around election time.
  2. Funny how how a change meant to help shipping industry and spun to “better for the environment” has had the opposite effect. All the septic overflows, oil and gas runoff, the carbon cost to make repairs, siltation of eroding shoreline etc etc. Horrible decision in hindsight.
  3. Lots to do around Lake Placid. Hikes, Ausable River for trout (check regs), canoe rentals, Tupper Lake nearby.
  4. CARP off the dock with corn!!
  5. Que the Tourette’s Guy compilation.
  6. I just put them in my shorts and go for a jog.
  7. That means you were down looking at the Kaho!!!!
  8. Maybe King Crimson?
  9. Agreed! The hot spoon keeps hitting because of the fish smell on it. I would also agree you don't want fish smell to rot on something. If I actually used meat, I would probably clean my meat heads at the end of each day.
  10. Great place. Go into park in evening and it is like a safari of big game. Estes lake has trout that you can get to with a belly boat. Dry fly midge hatches in evening. The out flow below Estes Lake dam is quick boulder pocket nymph fishing. Small bead head presentations. If you go over the top of divide, the outflow of shadow Mountain Reservoir or the headwaters of the Colorado River get a nod.
  11. Fantastic
  12. 4 am timing sounds like someone got back from a bar at closing time and was checking on a fake address some girl gave him.
  13. Nice video. Excellent clarity....gopro? Good to see you caught some 2 year olds as I didn't see many last year. Word of caution......don't hoist lake trout over your head with your mouth open......just sayin'.
  14. Interested.
  15. Not sure how I forgot this one.... Led Zeppelin "Traveling riverside blues"
  16. Strange indeed. Nice to have piece of mind. How long was the response time? Clinton and Bloomberg are staunch anti-gun nuts but they have armed body guards. They will never understand how much on an island you are living in the country.
  17. HA! I am sure there is a joke in there involving crap and sticky drag.
  18. No sinking ship songs please! Lol.
  19. I could use some help compiling some songs to listen to while trolling. Needs a water reference or theme. Dire Straits “Water of Love” “Down to the Waterline” Neil Young. “Down by the River” Alan Jackson “Drive” Doors “Peace Frog” Crosby, Stills and Nash. “Wooden Ships” Led Zeppelin. “When the Levee Breaks” Jackson Browne. “Rock Me On the Water” Creedence Clearwater Revivial. “Proud Mary”, “Green River”, “Have You Ever Seen the Rain” Prince. “Purple Rain” Bruce Springsteen. “The River” some of you young LOU kids are scratching your heads
  20. The rise of cormorants coincided with the rise of the goby. Gobies are easier to catch and are easier to reach- depth wise.
  21. That chart is probably for ocean fish. Based on the size of the girth in relation to your fingers, I would agree it is somewhere in the 25-29 lb range. It does not have the head of a 30 lber. Nice fish and from a yak!!
  22. DDT in the water. Very persistent. Went thru food web to Cormorants causing egg shell thinning so when they sit on eggs during nesting, the eggs break. Same for Eagles and other birds. We are coming out of the DDT era and the birds of prey are back.
  23. The recycled antifreeze will be mixed with the water that came out of engine so don’t reuse.
  24. Pull boat out of launch, WHILE THE ENGINE IS STILL WARM, put the outdrive down, hook up the ear muffs with a 5 gallon tub of non-toxic marine antifreeze and run the motor until all the antifreeze runs through. You can get the 5 gallon tubs at West Marine. Been doing it this way since 2005 when I bought my boat. This one I found is 1/2 the price of West Marine model... https://www.walmart.com/ip/Camco-65501-DIY-Boat-Winterizer-Easy-to-Use-Gravity-Flow-System-for-Inboard-Outboard-Engines/29764665?wmlspartner=wlpa&selectedSellerId=2605&adid=22222222227021776117&wl0=&wl1=g&wl2=c&wl3=40839462992&wl4=aud-430887228898:pla-78653072552&wl5=9005555&wl6=&wl7=&wl8=&wl9=pla&wl10=126803975&wl11=online&wl12=29764665&veh=sem&gclid=Cj0KCQiAyp7yBRCwARIsABfQsnTzMtWp-6AzpevM9C5F33s9WWtBAzPSSus2E_dq87StEtMz9JwZD0QaAv1uEALw_wcB
