  7. Fishing Report Your Name / Boat Name: ============== TRIP OVERVIEW ============== Date(s):5-4-12 Time on Water:6:30 - 1:00 Weather/Temp:foggy Wind Speed/Direction:N/E 5-10 Waves: 1-2 diminishing around noon Surface Temp: 46 Location:west of port LAT/LONG (GPS Cords): =============== FISHING RESULTS =============== Total Hits: 8 Total Boated:7 Species Breakdown:Coho's and a laker for Tom Hot Lure: NK NBK Trolling Speed: 3.0 gps Down Speed: 2.2-2.8 Boat Depth: all over Lure Depth: all over ==================== SUMMARY & FURTHER DETAILS ==================== I was joined by FISHINMAN Tom and friend Dave for the FX shakedown and although we didn't light it on fire, we managed a slooooowww pic of Ho's and a laker for Tom. We started in 55fow on a NW troll and picked up a 5-6 lb Coho right away on the 35 rigger. Picked up another Ho in aboutt 85fow and then it was a long time between fish. Dipseys were quiet all day except for a laker on a F/F out 75??? Go figure. The only glitch of the day was keeping Tom awake and at on point during a nap, the wire rod behind him starts thumpin we had to wake him up to get it out of the holder. His keen "Lakerman" senses knew immediately we had a laker on and surprisingly, and graciously, he handed the rod off to Dave who had never fought a fish on wire. The boat ran well and good day spent with good friends. Shawn

  10. Nice fish! What day were you out there? Shawn
  11. Well, the venison jerky and doughnuts didn't quite make up for the gourmet breakfast we all had hoped for, but fishing with some great guys and catching some nice fish sure did. Just wish Tom could have gotten the laker rod! Tom was nice enough to stop at Captains Cove afterwards so I could add to my Moonshine collection and he proceeds to tell me he isn't going tobuy anything Of course that didn't happen Shawn

  17. Congrats to your daughter on her accomplishment and to you for the support and encouragement along the way. I have a feeling that whatever road she is headed down next, you won't be that far away with support. Look on the bright side and think about what you have to look forward to: student loan payments, wedding, grandkids, fixin up her first house, more grandkids, takin the grandkids fishing and hunting, and having her there to take care of you when you need it later in life (couple years - depends, feedings etc...) Enjoy the moment Ray!! Shawn
  18. Congrats Mark! Thanks Musky! Shawn
  19. Nice fish Tom! It's too bad that they won't let ya back in Cabelas after catchin that fish in their aquarium. Shawn
  20. Your product looks promising. Would it affect the manufacturers warranty on the speed and temp unit? Thanks, Shawn
  21. Let me know when ya get up this way again - I may be out there as well and will share info with ya. Shawn
