  7. It was a great day in Port Bay yesterday. A little bumby getting out there in 3-5's with an occasional 6, but we managed to have a good time with good friends. We caught a lot of fish and the highlight of the day was watching Eskimo Joe landing his personal best steelhead of 19.5lbs. Eskimo Joe and his Dad aka "Sliderbite" doubled up Eskimo Joe with Capt Hank and his prize steelhead Eskimo Joe and Muskybob guarding the steelhead Shawn

  12. Great fish- congrats! We've caught a fair amount of Atlantics this year too and since the first one in May that hit hard and shot straight up out of the water before coming in the rest of the way like a log, the others have all played possum - dead to the boat until they hit the floor and all heck breaks loose. 18. Fishing Report Your Name / Boat Name: Fish FX ============== TRIP OVERVIEW ============== Date(s): 7/30/10 Time on Water: 6:30-11:00 Weather/Temp: p-cloudy 70 Wind Speed/Direction:NW 10-15, switching NE Waves: 1-3 Surface Temp: 74 Location: East of port LAT/LONG (GPS Cords): =============== FISHING RESULTS =============== Total Hits: 13 Total Boated: 10 Species Breakdown:Kings - 1 to 19lbs Hot Lure: Seasick Waddler, Gator, NBK SD w/ ATOMMIK NBK Trolling Speed: 2.8-3.4sog Down Speed: 2.0-2.6 Boat Depth: 100-150fow Lure Depth: 40-100 ==================== SUMMARY & FURTHER DETAILS ==================== Set up NE of port in 80fow on a NE troll running two wire dipseys at 180 and 240 on #3 settings and two riggers parked at 65 and 90. All kings today with a steady pick of mostly dinks and three teenagers. First rod to fire was the 240' dipsey with a green dot SD/Atommik Hammer fly and fish was gone before we got to the rod. Same rod got hammered again later, but fish became unbuttoned after 10min or so. NBK SD w/ ATOMMIK NBK fly took two teenage kings and the other teen wacked a NK Seasick Waddler on the 95 rigger. Pockets of cold water here and there, a lot of bait, and a lot of marks up high. Couldn't get any high fish to go and highest was on a est. 50' free slider on the 100' rigger. Fleas were minimal and only on the wires. Good luck to all this weekend. Shawn

  22. This will get you started http://www.attheoak.com/. The landmarks and locations page along with the depth of water are good things to have on your boat. The reports refer to them often. I'm still learning the area myself, and have found that there will be a group of guys catching fish in 100fow and another group of guys out in 300+fow having banner days. PM me with contact info if you want to fish sometime. Shawn
  23. WTG Glen Congrats on a helluva season! Shawn
