No - 4.3L I/O 220hp. Outboard models are rare but they are certainly not worth $10K more either. I purchased this from New York State and it was freshwater use only in 1 lake. This boat was not rigged at all. Here are some pics of this boat;
I live in Ontario and I can tell you this is overpriced. Sure Islander's are not all over the place like Michigan or NYS, but the demand isn't as high as well. I purchased a 2007 221V with a new trailer in NYS 2 years ago for $12495. The boat had less than 20 hours on the engine.
Maybe I'll knock out a few of my teeth, wear a wife beater shirt today and jump into a 1974 Ford F-150 so I could fit in. I'll make sure I don't slip up and let the occasional "eh" out to blow my cover. And I won't have nothing to report until the American fish make their counter clockwise swing around the lake - probably another few weeks before they show up in numbers.
But I do want to congratulate the NYR's for knocking out the Canadien's last night. That made my day.
If you buy this boat, you can run it through the channel, throw up a 3' wake, and laugh how guys in 18' tinnies bounce off the breakwall just like this guy ran it at Newcastle. Real class act.
Newcastle Ontario? If so, that is called Bond Head. What year is the boat and has it had a recent survey? I'm in Bowmanville so I could come down to view the boat in person. Thanks.
Any soft spots on the floor? Are the bellows in good shape? What hp is the engine? Any issues with the stringers? Do the brakes work on the trailer? Thanks
