I have no affiliation, just sharing a local tournament. It’s open water and simple two categories. Hopefully it will support some local small businesses. Good luck to those who fish it.
2006 startcraft c-star 18’6 with matching year trailer and motor. Clean 18ft family/fishing boat. Has a 90 Merc 2 stroke, 55lb MinnKota trolling motor and mooring cover. Boat has spent its life on Lake Ontario and the st Lawrence. Only selling to get more of a watersports boat for the family. This boat will fish the big lake or pull a tube. No issues and is in the slip for the season. Any one local to Rochester area I’d be able to get a sea trial most days. 15,500 obo. Pictures are from this year

Well I had hopes of holding out for some of the bigger bucks on camera. However the fresh snow and hunting with family and friends on Sunday had me feeling nostalgic, so I let the 243 eat.
Took advantage of the nice weather and got the kids out behind the house. My daughter spotted the deer first, a doe with two yearlings, so they got a pass. A 4th small doe made it way to the plot, but didn’t offer a shot. Great night to be in the stand.
Smoked this busted up ole bruiser, scrapes were super active and morning activity was good. I think this week with the temps low, we’ll see lots of deer moving. My backyard foodplot has a few bucks checking in during daylight hours.
We had a family cottage in the Islands for 50 years. We sold it 2019. Although I miss it I’m glad we sold, the last 4 years it’s been “waters too low or waters to high”. Pay for water front to watch the boat sit on the trailer. Then this year waters too low. Of the 50years my grandparents recorded 2 floods, neither was i alive for, I’ll be 37 this year lol. Now my boat is wet docked 5 mins from home and gets used 10x more. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
Well tilled up the kill plots for behind the house. Hopefully plant tomorrow and the forecast holds true that we have a few days of rain periods mixed in the come week. Odd/ frustrating note the Delta cam snapped a few pics, how last week when I mowed the trails not one picture of me on the tractor. So the jury is still out for me on the cam. But for $75 and not spending that in gas to check cams or hunt a dead spot I can’t be too upset. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
If anyone is looking for a decent cellular trail camera. Check out the moultire delta. I picked up two for $75 a piece. So far I’m pleased. I had some washout pics and moultire sent me a firmware update within the hour of me contacting them. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
It’s on the buttonwood side looks like maybe they came out of the creek fast and made a hard right for some reason Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
I just put my boat in at Gibbs for the season and took a little stroll on braddocks, only to see this. Anyone know the story ? Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
I never understood the new break wall, jetties seem to be the no brainer option. I had talked to one of the engineers on the project in passing and he said the outflow from buttonwood and salmon would naturally push the sand out of the channel. I can only assume he’s not local to the area and has never seen those two creeks in the middle of the summer. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
Braddocks is the worst, however being 5mins from home, Its nice to have it slipped there. Gibbs seems to be putting an honest effort in to make it better year after year. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
You should try walking out from burger park, I’ve done it a few times with some success, just a long as walk. As long as there isn’t sleds ripping the channel you’ll have the place to yourself Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
I fished cranberry yesterday not a bite. Long pond didn’t have a soul on it, fished braddocks last week with a decent crowd and not much happening(I caught a few dink perch and no pike). Tents on braddocks were pretty far out yesterday just about in line with buttonwood creek. I bay seems to be the best bet for local
We fished the north end, mainly targeting pike not a pan fish but I always jig. We were in 5-10 feet I moved to a drop off to jig 11-20feet but still not a bite Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
We fished silver last Thursday Friday Sat 4 pike between 4 guys and not a single pan fish, very slow from what we typical do there. I’m going to hit up braddocks or the ponds with the kids today and try to jig up something for an hour or two . Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
Well the B squared came today and I tossed it on. Initial fitment seems great, I’ll wait to see what gift cards come from Santa and I’ll throw a scope on soon and toss some slugs down range. I have a rifled Hastings barrel which loves the light field slugs $$$ Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
Thanks for the info guys. I couldn’t find a Remington mount, but did find the B square so I ordered that. So hopefully the fit is good, then it’s off to buy a scope! And sight in for next season Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
I guess if they don’t mar up the receiver I’d be open to it. What mount do you have? Also have you had any issues with the scope moving? Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
Looking to buy a cantilever rifled barrel for my Remington 1100 LT-20 barrel. I already have a Hastings rifled barrel, but I’d like to scope it and not drill/tap the gun. If anyone has one or knows of one, shoot me a message Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
