I just wanted to thank everyone for your support at my first salmon school. It was a good turn out and I hope all of you like it and learned from it. I will be having another one in April or May. I do want to say for all who attended please check your records to see if I missed quoted the fly leader length. It should by 22 inches from nose to loop. I might of quoted 23. If so please change it in your papers.thanks Captain Rick [ Post made via Android ]

Yes, I did use these for my copper rods. I went to 9 footers to clear my dipsy lines. They can be used for anything Salmon related. Copper, lead core, riggers and so on. They are 7 1/2 so they would fall under the catagory of a short stick. The eys are in perfect shape. really nice rods. I taped the handles as it make gripping the rod easyier. Check out Okumas web site these list for $50 to $70 a piece.

My newer Total Chaos fly's that will be at All Seasons Sports Shop will be there very soon. These will be my prototypes I tested last season that I mopped up all the fish with. one is called the "Widow Maker" and the other is the 'Mexico Bay Mauler'. There is also a few other new patterns for 2012. 190 to 210 foot of water and 120, 135, and 150 on the riggers back 12, 15 and 20. Dippies on a number 1 setting out 400 with a mag ring did some biger fish. The biggest came on the deep rigger down 150. 500 and 600 coppers did some damage to. The fish are there and we had allot for fun with 3 tripples and 3 doubles. Looks like another record season for the BIG O !!! Fishing Report Your Name / Boat Name: Captain Rick Pecci The Dreams Come True Charters ============== TRIP OVERVIEW ============== Date(s): Sunday June 25th Time on Water: 6 hrs Weather/Temp: nice warm Wind Speed/Direction: light w nw Waves: 1 to 3's Surface Temp: 70 Location: Mexico Bay LAT/LONG (GPS Cords): =============== FISHING RESULTS =============== Total Hits: 13 Total Boated: 11 Species Breakdown: 2 steelhead the rest Kings Hot Lure: all Flashers & Total Chaos Flys Trolling Speed: Down Speed: 2.3 to 2.5 Boat Depth: 150 to 180 Lure Depth: 90 to 135 ==================== SUMMARY & FURTHER DETAILS ==================== Went out with My girlfriend and first mate Ramona and 2 of my friends on Sunday morning, Anthony and Mary-Ellen. Got out late because my friends hit a deer on the way up to the boat and I had to drive and pick them up about 30 mins from the dock. So we got out around 8 ish. Set up in 150 in front of cat fish and headed North. Set my middle rigger first as always as it has my X4 Fish hawk probe on it to check my speed and in less than 1 min the rod was screaming. White custom e chip and a pearl white hammer Total Chaos fly. Nice 15 lber. I set 5 rods in in a short period of time and we took 5 fish in the first hour. It was fast and heavy. Then we picked at them the rest of the morning. Almost all fish came on white flashers most all custon by me and all with Total Chaos flys. Seeing I make them and is all I use now. 125 and 135 was the best on the riggers and the 500 and 600 copper took some hits along with some custom dippies with mag rings. In white. Fishing looks good and I sure hope it holds staedy for the rest of our season. Don't forget that I am putting on a Salmon School at Ganger Mtn. on July 15th at 1 pm and will be a 4 hour course in Salmon fishing Lake Ontario. We will cover allot in detail. Look for the info on my web sites homepage or call me at 315-790-7412 www.dreamscometruecharters.com
