Hey guys thanks again for the continued support of these lure hangers! If you have purchased any so far please post how you feel on there useage! I would like some feed back as these are selling so good I may take this thing a bit further. I do have 17 now left from the last batch of 24 and when these are gone I have to make a decision. The guy who makes these wants more money due to his material cost going up so I want to know if you guys think that I should keep going with these and actually sell them as a real product line? I would appriciate your feed back. If you need any holder get them while they last!!!!

Luhr Jenson flash fly
Dreams Come True Charters replied to CaptSpike's topic in Tackle and Techniques
I see allot of talk about fly's and fly manufactors. I don't think one is better than another more than the choice you make on what fly to fish and when. Then there is leader poundage, hook size and type, bead color and shape and size, rattles and even scent! All this could be a reason one fly out produces another. I also don't see any mention ot the Total Chaos Flys sold at All Seasons Sport shop. I charter and have for a while. I only use these fly's except for a green crinkle Howie or A-tom-mik as that color material is exclusive only to them! But A-tom-mik, Howie, Siggs and Big Weenie all catch fish. I think that some of the Total Chaos fly's are more inovative and fresh. try one out!!!! Ask around!!! And then vist my web site. LOL thanks Just saying!!! -
Okuma fishing reel repair question
Dreams Come True Charters posted a topic in Tackle and Techniques
Hey guys. I have a Okuma reel repair question. Years ago a man named Rick Hawthorne worked at Okuma and was on this site helping us captains with reel repairs and such. He is not at Okuma anymore and wondered if anyone knows another person who may have taken his place to help us captains out with reel repairs. I have a dozen cn20d Okumas that are in need of service and Okuma used to do a reel trade or a upgrade program where I had sent in a bunch of reels and they swapped them out for other referbished ones. Do they have anything like this anymore? Or anyone helping the captains form Okuma? Thanks Rick -
Fishing Report Your Name / Boat Name: Capt. Rick Pecci Dreams Come True Charters ============== TRIP OVERVIEW ============== Date(s):4/22 Time on Water:5 hrs Weather/Temp:cloudy 40's Wind Speed/Direction: heavy N-NE Waves: 2 to 6's Surface Temp: 49 Location:mexico bay LAT/LONG (GPS Cords): =============== FISHING RESULTS =============== Total Hits: 22 Total Boated: 16 Species Breakdown: Kings, Browns Hot Lure: Stinger spoons with some kind of orange and Smithwick black lines Trolling Speed: 2.5 to 3.2 Down Speed: 2.5 to 3.2 Boat Depth: 20 to 40 foot Lure Depth: 6 to 30 foot ==================== SUMMARY & FURTHER DETAILS We braved the rapids today and went out. Come to my surprise the lake wasnt that bad. Out of the cute was a bit choppy like 2 to 4's but further Northeast was quite nice at a steady 2 foot chop. We took 2 Kings and all the rest Browns. One King pushing 20 and one around 12. One nice Brown at 11 and all the rest 2 to 7 lbs. The best lures were Stingers in anything with orange. Smithwicks black lines off the boards did 6 or 7 fish. Plus a 6 color core down the chute hit about 5. All in all not a bad trip and the lake almost all to myself. Hope to see you guys and gals back out on the water this next weekend. Good luck and Tight Lines. ====================

Fishing Report Your Name / Boat Name: The Dreams Come True Charters ============== TRIP OVERVIEW ============== Date(s): April 14th 12 Time on Water: 6 HRs. Weather/Temp: cold partlt sunny to cloudy Wind Speed/Direction: east to south east 5 mil or less Waves: almost none Surface Temp: 44 Location: Mexico bay LAT/LONG (GPS Cords): =============== FISHING RESULTS =============== Total Hits: 27 Total Boated: 19 Species Breakdown: all browns except 1 laker and a lost King Hot Lure: sticks and spoons Trolling Speed: 2.4 to 2.7 Down Speed: 2.3 to 2.6 Boat Depth: 15 to 30 Lure Depth: 6 to 18 ==================== SUMMARY & FURTHER DETAILS What a day oh what a day!! Satrted at about 7 putting out the first rod just out of the chute and within 5 min we had a small cookie cutter brown like every morning this season. We then took a nicer one not to far after. As I finally get everything set, the deep rigger down the middle fires and the rod bent straight back and the reel started screaming out line! KING, KING, KING I see a pure silver fish with a black back come ripping out of the water way back and it was big. but he was gone. We took fish after fish afterward and never really had any slack time. Two triples, many doubles and lots of fun. I had 2 special guys aboard the dreams one client at the young age of 95 years young and also a great guy who happens to be totaly blind and his aid so they all had there work cut out for them. But they did great and boated many nice fish. The Captaim at the helm my girl Ramona was right on the troll and we had a blast. Fish came on both the boards off large and small Smithwick black strip sticks, Daves Kabooms my hot lures this season took 6 or 7 and two on a gold flash, black back, orange belly thunder Jr. . Sutton 33s and 44s did most of the work on the riggers with 5 fish coming on stingers 4 off the chicken wing and one on a blue freakin vegtables circus freak one of my favorites. The suttons did most of the other damage. 10, 15 and 18 down was my best rigger set over 20 to 25 feet of water. Orange with green and chart was my best color spoons all custom and some brass backs. Blue and silver was also hot for me. 2.3 to 2.6 was my hot down speed on the X-4 Fish Hawk. I am glad to see our fishery seemingly getting better and better every season. For everyone who make this happen and all of us who enjoys the fishery keep up the good work and enjoy the ride. God bless and tight LINES!! ====================
