  6. Rod, I had a old bayliner with a walk through and we removed the front seats and put plywood even with the bow and used that for storage. This boat here is a two man fishing boat so you can only run 4 rods (6 if law gets passed) The bow is perfect for installing a mast for boards. Put one rod holder close to the winshield for the boards. You have room for 2 riggers and one rod holder on each side for your flat line. Thats my $.02. Good Luck, Howie
  7. Screamer For us rookies, just to rub elbows with the top fishermen on Lake "O" is an accomplishment in itself. Competing on a level playing field and looking over what knowledge we have obtained, as we get our gear in shape, gives us more and more confidence in our abilities. Yes, we acknowledge that what we have learned may not be enough with the experience at this level. However, having zero pressure on us our appraoch will be to work hard as a team but most important, we're gonna have fun. Ya, we paid $800.00 for a dinner but the opportunity to compete with the best, PRICELESS!! So why you guys are blowing us off the water with those 454's your runnin just keep an one eye in your rear view mirror. YA NEVER KNOW See ya in 56 days. Howie - Hannah Christine PS: Once again, we thank the event committee for this memorable opportunity. Job well done

  11. I use the same line on my slider and cheater as is on my main line. My line is never longer than the rod I am using. I also have a snap swival that attaches to the lure and a snap that attaches to the main line. When I do not want the line to slide or to keep it a certain length above the main lure,I use a rubberband. I loop the rubber band around the rigger cable, hook the snap to the rubberband and the main line together. This will hold the cheater and it is easily retrieved. Shade

Not only for putting this event together but keeping the excitement and intensity at such a high level. NK Spook

Thanks, I saw that and it said Millato. I went to the NK table Sunday and asked for the Spook and all they had was the Mag not a 28. So for $2 I bought a couple and I told my son that I could make them myself. Today i went on the site to look at 2 more spoons they did not have at the show and I could not find the 28 size. Thanks again, Howie

    NK Spook

I went on NK site and they do not show a Spook spoon, not even on their search engine. Anyone have a spoon number or a web site that handles these? Shade

  18. For those of you who could not attend the seminar you missed a well planned, informative and educational clinic. I am sure that many of us who have attended other seminars or training classes wether it be for our recreation or our carreers can relate on how boring and dragged out they can be. In most cases the instructors revert to comedy to keep us awake. This seminar was professionally planned and kept your attention during the entire presentation. If you did not come out of there with a higher level of knowledge you are not human. The questions from the audiance where great and the responses came with detail and understanding. My respect for both Capt. Vince and Capt. Bob has gone to the next level. I once again want to thank both Captains and the LOTSA orginization for the opportunity to attend. Howie Nola
