  5. never used them. IMO, I would not buy a rod holder with holes in them....lol
  6. The Quick draw holders have cutouts on the rod holders so you can quickly get your rod out of the holder instead of having to lift it out under tension like in a standard rod holder. See how the aluminum is cut out in the front and back of the holder in the pic? Go to Big Jon.com - I'm sure they have an explanation there. It's sort of like the el cheapo cabelas rod holders but it's heavy duty and made of metal instead of plastic. Chris

  18. Awesome job on the buck! A true beauty
  19. WTG - you deserve it! I've enjoyed this thread more than any other in LOU history. If you have coyotes, I might just give it a go tonight and at least take another look around 8 or 9 PM. If you bump him again, back out til the AM. What did the blood look like? And no assholes to comment on your shooting time? Amazing!! Good luck - you will find him for sure Chris
  20. Good call on backing out - you will find him. Tail flickering can be a response to pain, or a posterior shot - think liver, stomach, etc. Blood with clots is a good sign. Good luck Dan, I'm very confident you'll have some pics to show us tomorrow of this beast. Chris
  21. Absolutely one of my favorites as well!!
