  1. Justin, any idea what they charge for an overnight slip, no shore power needed?
  2. Had a slow but steady pick of 5-6 lb lakers both days, dropped a dandy on sat. During the " drop every fish " time , 7 in a row didn't matter who was on the rod!! Sun. We dropped a big silver after a 25-35 min battle, mostly my fault trying to keep the boat out of the skinny water, sharp turn in a cross wind. We did manage to get the 3 fish for the "333" derby. Best bite was on the "deep" rigger parked at 48ft. (5 ft below the f/f ) . Over all had a great weekend with fishbowl, thanks Wayne
  3. Very interesting, will you be doing flutter spoons in the future?
  4. Thanks guys see you at the derby!!!
  5. Justin, does the marina have crawlers?
  6. Tracey, is there mooring buoys out in the lake or any slips to rent? Would like to launch the boat Fri. Night and then stay on it until derby hours start. Is your name Tracey or Justin??
  7. Thank you one and all for your generosity , there was just over one hundred dollars in the cup!! As far as winning the old saying is" even a blind squirrel finds a nut now and then" the big landlock was caught by nauti-troller not by me, great fish!! Hope to see every one at the Salvation Army derby on the 12th and 13th. GOD bless
  8. Bad news for the not so blue -blue bubble, Angie can't fish so it's solo again this year!
  9. Nick, personally I can't get these spoons to go, if you don't mind what down speed do you run them at, 1.8 must be too slow? Thanks Rollie
  10. Gotta love the henderson harbor area, where at and how deep?
  11. Once bit, twice shy!!!!!!!!
  12. Thought for sure I could better a 6 lb rainbow, had to settle for a 5 lb brown! It's not that I didn't have the chance, broke a good one off and dropped a good one, all in all it was a fun weekend, 60+ fish and lots of radio chatter with Splitshot. Looking at the big jump Splitshot had maybe there was TOO much chatter! GOD bless
  13. Very nice mark , thank you, called for work couldn't make it , probably would have just been in the way anyways!!! GOD bless
  14. Very rarely reel a fish in when we're playing , derby fishing I NEVER hand a rod off , seems like this is when you drop a fish. On second thought it seems like I'm always the one to reel in the long coppers!!!
  15. Will let you know in a few hours , heading up in this Am. Launching at Henderson, fishing this evening and Fri. Morning.
  16. Heading to chaumont Thursday morning to chase the eyes, will be fishing evening then the next day, sticks and harnesses will be the offering!
  17. I believe Scotty makes rail mounts, might be able to use one of them. Tough enough to withstand a king strike on a dipsy so they should hold up to a planner board. Just a thought.
  18. The not so blue bubble is in, this year the secret weapon is fishing with me!! Angie seems to think see needs to kick some butt, look out boys the bit..h is back !! Scott can we park at the camper on Sat. Night ??
