  1. justin, will see you on the south end and thanks for showing me last years "hot" spoon!!!!
  2. are you guys fishing seneca or cayuga ?
  3. i will be there to repeat!! and i'm gonna bring the mounted brownie from last year so i don't get accused of keeping him alive like flecth did, even tho it did work for him..... working with R&R spoons for a little different pattern that he promised not to show splitshot! this is gonna be a fish catching machine that will be only shown to the highest bidder at the end of the day. hey jason you on board this year? i promise to let you reel a couple in...
  4. the smile tells it all!!
  5. hard water silver
  6. future forage!!!
  7. full mounts for sale>>> 280+ lbs. black bear, average size grey fox. these are mounts that clients did not want or could not afford after they were mounted. also have several shoulder whitetails and a shoulder mount bobcat. if interested give me a call. rollie 570-746-3002
  8. if you need a longer steering cable for a rack and pinnion system let me know. i have a 14 ft. one that i had to replace to install auto-pilot. all that is missing is the steering wheel.
  9. when i mounted my rocket launcher i used 1/2x3 box steel and ran it the full lenght of gunnel, underside, this allowed me to mount all my other rod holders, both dipsy and planner board without a worry of them pulling loose. one of the smarter things i did!!
  10. here is my hot set-up from last year. may not work this year but it' will be my starting point. switched out the 2 oz. weight and replaced with the 4 oz. replaced small ring with x-tra large one. run these on power tip 9 ft. dipsy rods. reels are shimano 700 lc. filled with 50 lb. mono and a 6 ft. 15 lb. floro leader. testing proved they will dive 45% of line out, therefore when fishing the 10-12 ft. i let out 15-20 ft. of line. (tip of rod to diver) line out from diver is fine tuned to be in the "ZONE" in my oppinion the closer i keep the diver to the boat the more action is imparted to the lure from the boat re-acting to the waves. i also run these on the fingers, going deep for lakers.differance being i shorten up the dipsy to lure (30ft.) watch your turns cause they sink like a rock!!
  11. 21 again!!! or just acting like your 21?? happy day my freind
  12. early spring run two riggers and slide divers, my daughter and i put 42 fish in the boat on the second day of the turny last year,90% of those fish came on the divers!! missed 5 th. place by .02 of a pound. this weekend (memorial day) has become a father daughter retreat for us. if it wasn't i jump on your boat in a heart beat. if you slide to the south give a shout --blue bubble on ch. 68. can't wait untill the turny's start!! GOD bless rollie
  13. splitshot, if you get on this thread am asking in front of all, PLEASE change the red cross date so i can take away your crown!! but your problly the reason it's on that date so you wont fish against the rest of the pro/am fishermen/fisherwoman. ray if you need a pink shirt to go with your towel let me know, rod doesn't like the one i wear!!come on april this hard water stuff is too much work!!
  14. I'm a out of stater (PA.) that will not buy a PA. fishing lic. i don't care if they raise the fees to 300.00 i'll still fish NY. three rods per would be nice on some days other days you can't keep a 4 rod spead in the water. i go to catch fish but not to kill as many as i can. the fish fry at the church always has had plenty to go around due to people other than myself not wanting derby fish to go to waste. the people that enjoy this sport and fish often could care less about reeling one in esp. if there is a first timer on board!! for me it's all about figuring them out and then watching the rods fire and the reaction of these other people. three rods would help to hone in on the zone then the dead rods would be put back in the launcher untill the bite dies. GOD bless.......rollie
  15. thanks MUSKY, HOPE TO SEE YOU THERE
  16. will be fishing with LUCKYENUF this year , can't wait, anyway if the dates are set, please post them here so i can beat the wify to the calinder!!(first come first served) thanks rollie
  17. i'll be fishing the pro/am and the scotties alongwith the derby's that are held on the fingers. if there is a way to schedual make up days (middle of week) i would be interested. could be paired with others that fish the pro/ams??
  18. hi guys, will be launching out of watkins glen (clute park) hope to be on the water before 9:00 channel 68 BLUE BUBBLE i'll be the one getting the net wet!! after i commission the auto-pilot LOL GOD bless----rollie
  19. heading to choumont bay?? on the 9th. can't wait to run the boards with sticks for the northerns, will also put some mags down on the ball for the really big boys!! that is after we fill the coolers with yellow.......rollie
  20. i had a 16' jon boat with a 28 horse jet (river ride) this also had clamp on seats that would loosen up. i took 1/4 X 1/2 lags and a large washer. placed them at the 4 corners of the wire clamp that goes over the seat edge. never moved again. i never fell overboard but had several close call before i screwed them fast!! glad you survived your learning experiance LOL.
  21. put a 14R on the blue bubble, took it to the lake and when i turned it on my Lowrance 4800M gps blanked out . does anyone know what set of wires to use.. simrad directions are red too orange, blue to red. lowrance direction are yellow to red. no mention what to do with the data(blue)wire from the simrad...thanks rollie (by the way when i got home i removed the NEMA wires and all is ok with my gps)
  22. if the perch will hit a flasher/fly maybe just maybe i could catch one on a minnow. i really need someone to show me how to get perch in open water from a boat. hard water i have good luck but from i boat i SUCK at it. maybe i'll try once more on tues if the wind is down so i can commission the new auto pilot after i get tee'd off.
  23. i have switched over to all shimano LC. i have 2-500's for planners, i have 4-600's for rigger's and 2-700's for wire. next puschase will be the 800's for copper. in my little world i haven't found a tougher more reliable reel. i went the cabella depht raider thru the several modles of okuma's along with the daiwa's they just did not stand up to the abuse. kings on lake O killed the drags sent them back in to be repaired used them once and gave them away. GO WITH SHIMANO and in the long run you will be farther ahead GOD bless rollie
  24. complete system without steering wheel. cable lenght is 17 1/2 ft. came off a 16 ' boat with a 50 hp. 4 stroke asking $160 for all and that will include shipping. call me with questions. rollie at 570-746-3002
  25. jason, make that BIG FISH ON!!! GOD BLESS rollie
