  1. Found active fish from 45-80 down over 100-250 FOW from T-falls north to and then across to the plant. Ran spoons on riggers back 40-50, down 45 and 65, a mag dipsy FF combo out 160-250and a slide diver spoon rig out 130 on the other side. 6 and 8 color cores w/ stix off the boards and a 400 copper down the chute. Every presentation took fish, alas most were 10-18" juvenile LLs. Boxed a few larger LLs and a couple good lakers. Very pleasant day on the water in and out of the wheel house with the heater on from time to time.
  2. I'm hitched up and heading out in the am. Figuring I've got to go around and out at T-falls. Anybody been out of Treman?
  3. Looks like it's gonna be Thurs for me too. Village launch should be good to go. Canal should be clear too.
  4. Planning to hit Watkins on Wednesday. Anybody been out?
  5. We hit em pretty good out front on Fri/Sat in 90-175 on spoons. Sun was tougher, managed 2 decent fish in 75-110 on meat and one East of the chute in 40 FOW on a spoon.
  6. N.East winds made for a rough day 1. Found coho and kings in 150-250 mostly on spoons and a few on meat. Day 2 we put a pretty good spanking on a mix of coho, steel and kings with some big fish in the mix. Spoons ruled the day with the 8 color/ steely dan doing the most damage up top and the 60' rigger with green hornet ruling the colder water. Last day at the Oak was tough fishing. We managed to put 2 kings and a silver in the box fishing water from 70 to 35. Pulled lines at 11:30 and enjoyed another great meal of cold roast venison and tomato sandwiches. We've had a great time out here seeing old friends and making new ones. And so another Salmon season comes to a close for us as it will soon for the spawning fish as well. Goose, turkey and deer season will soon draw us in but a grilled fish dinner awaits the Bartlett clan tonight reminding us again of this great trip. I want to send a special thanks to Skipper 19 and his family for their hospitality in hosting our band of merry makers and our tents even though he had a family reunion going. I also want to thank Jason for his insights and friendly banter out on the water. See you guys next season! -Andy
  7. The last day for us at the Oak was our best and the hottest. Went back to our way points from Monday and worked 200 to 450 in a tight circle. Fish came on 90 and 70 spoon riggers, our new 300 high speed chute copper spoon setup, and the 10 color spoon board rod. Couple 20" bows on the 160 diver w/ meat but otherwise no activity for flasher rods. 2.2-2.5 depth raider
  8. Hit em good again. Worked 350-500 from 60 -90 and boxed out at 11:00. Fish came on meat and spoons. Last day tomorrow.
  9. Hit em pretty good today. Worked 200-400 back n forth. Boxed out by 11:00.
  10. Mom's, Be here till Wednesday. Mom's. be here till Wednesday.
  11. Rattled around off shore today. Fish seemed scattered and we were not able to put a program together. Boxed a decent king and a couple steelies & dropped a bunch. Back at it tomorrow.
  12. We are between sodus and port bay. 200 fow pulling all the stuff. What are you doing GPS speed. I'm 2.3-2.8 (1.8 on DR)
  13. Slow for me out of LP today. Screen was loaded in 100-150 but spoons & ffs drew zip. Moved out to 250 and popped a couple nice bows and 1 good salmon on riggers w/ DW ss spoons. 400 copper w/ flx spoons - dead. 8 color w/ broken back herring-dead, wires-dead, slide diver-dead. tried speeds from 1.6-3 down (fish hawk). I must have had some bad ju ju going on out there...
  14. After my personal best 'longest stretch away from fishing'(LOL)finally busted a move and got out on Cayuga Sunday. Launched at Long Point and hacked away at the Lakers for a couple hours. They obliged me by hitting my spoon riggers pretty steadily over 120-60 FOW set at 70-60 and 50-40. Moved out to 250+ and put out a couple super braid slide diver rigs and snared 1 good LL and a pile of shorts. I ran mostly green deep and color above using mostly med FLX spoons on the main and smalls on the cheaters but it really didn't seem to matter- everything took hits. Great to get out- didn't realize the Derby was on but was nice to see some fellow fisherman.
  15. I marked a lot of lakers locked up deep with the bait in 200 FOW, pretty typical pattern in years past for March
  16. Launched out of Myers at 9:30, found color and 53 deg. down past the salt plant. Worked the skinny water and had action on stix off the boards and spoons on the riggers but they were all shorts. Hit the west side-same story till I hit cold water and then nothing. Went back to the east side trying different depths but still came up with shorts. Super nice day out just couldn't connect with the class of fish I wanted.
  17. Good to see you are back at it! Thanks for the intel. Hoping to get over to the lake today.
