  1. Wound up smacking a couple of nice salmon right at the end of the adventure. Both on honeybees off slide divers down approx 30' over 60-80 fow just S of T-falls. For us the fish mood seemed negative today- no wire diver hits, no rigger hits (despite long leads). 3 fish came on 5-6 color cores and 4 on the the slide divers w/ 50' leads, all fish were on spoons. There is substantially more bait in 80-50 fow than there was 2 weeks ago. Surface temp 52-62. Marked good concentrations of lakers and "active" looking arches around bait but a slow bite for us.
  2. Pm Sen Couple fish on slide divers. 50 to70 fow
  3. Yes. Another Laker on 5 colors in 90.
  4. 1 Laker on 6 colors in 65 fow S of the plant
  5. On the lake now. Launched at Myers.Crossed to west side and headed north. Worked 100 now crossing middle. No action at all so far
  6. Splendid! These monster lakers live on!
  7. Looking at putting in a HDS 7 display for the inevitable day my x515 or global map bites the radish. I would get the broad band radar to run on it until I need to make a move to hook it up to the transducer. I will also use it as a back up GPS. What do you think?
  8. Typical tournament weather...
  9. We fished Sat. Very slow for us. Ran (2)spoon riggers at 30-70 w/ cheaters, (2)mag wire divers w/ ff combos 150-225' out on 1.5, (2)slide divers w/ spoons, and a long spoon copper and a short core stix on each side off the boards. Wound up 7 for 7 w/ nothing to brag about, more of an endurance test than an enjoyable day on the water.Congrats to those that got on the board!-Andy
  10. I hope every body has a great day! See you out there. -Andy
  11. Great job in a tough situation. See you on Cayuga. -Andy
  12. Well... that should separate the wheat from the chaff.
  13. Yeah, same thing I found. Thanks
  14. Think it's gonna be raining Scott?
  15. What was the bottom depth when you hit the Atlantics?
  16. Dave, what was the depth where the lls hit? I saw only 1 bait pod in less than 160 fow, it started at 50' down- took a double off it 2x, but all fish were on sliders not the spoons that were in the bait.
  17. 1 cookie Scott & 2 decent lls, bunch of lakers. Lots of bait still locked up out deep.
  18. On the lake now.56 surface 44 down 30 mixed bag on sliders and shallow riggers nothing off boards fishing 10 to 120 fow.launched at LP heading S, speed 1.8-2.2 at the ball
  19. The inshore brown bite is very slow at this point
  20. Well, so far Poseidon has set himself against me. First trip up was in a blizzard. 2cd trip, spectacular blow out w/ no place to change out and another skunk, Yesterday another skunk and on the way home the rear cross member on the trailer gives out. Fortunately, I was only a few miles from Mike's Welding in Homer! Oh well -- it;s been good seeing Hank anyway and thanks to him we are ready to get on em when it comes together!!
  21. Good to hear you're back on the fish Shawn. -Andy
  22. Great post! Put my little 16 in at Hanks/ Port Bay on Tuesday solo. S wind kept me spinning around, dropped 2 on inlines couldn't get my boards out. Was hoping to fish Sat & Sun but weather seems to have other ideas so I'll get some farm projects out of the way and then I'll be ready to get on em next week.
  23. Fresh leaders on the flat line rigs! Planning to get things in gear after the weekend.
  24. Mag on inside on 1, regular on 3 outside. Helps to run outside divers on longer rods to get some separation. Multiple cores or coppers can be run off inlines with deeper lines to the inside, use caution on turns when the boards can get close. [ Post made via Android ]
