  1. Started out jigging around the plant with just a couple fish to show for our work and switched over to trolling west side to avoid weeds. Our wires were dead but got into some lakers with a jointed rapala on 12 colors and a few on lime green SS spoons parked at 90' from 90-200 FOW. Picked up some nice bows on orange cheaters near the Boy Scout Camp. Temp was down over 80' everywhere we were. We were planning to check out the afternoon bite but after grilling a pile of smoked, stuffed pork loin, Cuban style sandwichs at T-Falls I took a nap and then we spent the afternoon tubing, -Andy
  2. Nice BT! Congrats

Pete- there are certain provisions for shooting out of a F-150 in Chenango County, they go along with the special 'extended' late season regs. A number of us in the Greene, McDonough area are grandfathered into these little known clauses of State Game Law and it would be downright disrespectful not to adhere to them!
  4. Outstanding effort! Hats off to Nick and Theresa and all those who attended to all the many details and most of all to the guests of honor who were just a great bunch of guys to talk and fish with. Nice job Capt Coup & thanks for the invite,I'll crew for you any time! -Andy

  7. Nice! I gotta get back on the water- all these reports are killing me. -Andy
  8. What size C-14 seems to be working?-might be heading out that way this coming week end. Thanks, -Andy
  9. Well, not an easy jigging day for me and my son Tristan.first off discovered the bow mount had no zip at all even though I charged it's battery on Sat (hoping that the battery is the culprit) so we no boat control in a stiff s. wind.- Managed a few just south of the plant (should have stayed there) tried north of the plant ,crossed & T-Bone jigged up a real nice Salmon, then tried Sheldrake and finally went back to our original spot s. of the plant where we encountered a bunch of short strikers. Anyway, met up with the rest of the family and had a big old picnic at T-Falls and then spent the afternoon tubing. Pretty awesome day at the lake! -Andy
  10. Anybody been doing any jigging lately? Planning a combo family outing tomorrow w/ some am jigging and then roll into into some tubing & kayaking. I'm thinking I should find fish in 70'-100' on both sides around the plant and on up to Sheldrake? Hope everybody is having a good, HOT, summer!
  11. Congrats to the Billy V crew. Way to get out there & find the big fish on a tough day!
  12. Didn't realize you had a new ride. Saw the old 'duke' getting filled up on 81 the other day and started bs'ing w/ one of the guys sitting in the truck- he probably thought I was nuts! Nice looking new rig-enjoy.-Andy
  13. The temp has been deep of late, making for difficult multiple deep riggers, divers & junk lines. Don't crowd too many lines into the same zone, long deep diver presentations are gonna conflict w/ deep coppers even if they are off the boards, especially w/ current & turns. -Andy
  14. Well, Hank came thru once again-my trailer has new rollers & lights so we will be over on Sun to defend the cup. T-Con and Dustin won't be able to be there but we did get a nice morning of kings & steelies out of Port Bay before picking up the trailer yesterday. I'm looking forward to seeing all you guys again and since I haven't been on Cayuga for ages I'm trying to catch up by reading any and all posts. See ya Sunday!
  15. Nice King, good work! -Andy
  16. Good going Scott! -Andy
  17. Thanks Mike-good advice. Pretty much what I've done in the rifle dept and just need to buckle down and do it for the these Stoeger i-drive auto loaders for geese. We've got 3 of the same guns so at least that should make forward progress a bit simpler. PM sent
