    Hank - L&M

Some people talk a lot , Hank just get's stuff done!
  2. Nice! I gotta get back on the water- all these reports are killing me. -Andy
  3. What size C-14 seems to be working?-might be heading out that way this coming week end. Thanks, -Andy
  4. Well, not an easy jigging day for me and my son Tristan.first off discovered the bow mount had no zip at all even though I charged it's battery on Sat (hoping that the battery is the culprit) so we no boat control in a stiff s. wind.- Managed a few just south of the plant (should have stayed there) tried north of the plant ,crossed & T-Bone jigged up a real nice Salmon, then tried Sheldrake and finally went back to our original spot s. of the plant where we encountered a bunch of short strikers. Anyway, met up with the rest of the family and had a big old picnic at T-Falls and then spent the afternoon tubing. Pretty awesome day at the lake! -Andy
  5. Anybody been doing any jigging lately? Planning a combo family outing tomorrow w/ some am jigging and then roll into into some tubing & kayaking. I'm thinking I should find fish in 70'-100' on both sides around the plant and on up to Sheldrake? Hope everybody is having a good, HOT, summer!
  6. Congrats to the Billy V crew. Way to get out there & find the big fish on a tough day!
  7. Didn't realize you had a new ride. Saw the old 'duke' getting filled up on 81 the other day and started bs'ing w/ one of the guys sitting in the truck- he probably thought I was nuts! Nice looking new rig-enjoy.-Andy
  8. The temp has been deep of late, making for difficult multiple deep riggers, divers & junk lines. Don't crowd too many lines into the same zone, long deep diver presentations are gonna conflict w/ deep coppers even if they are off the boards, especially w/ current & turns. -Andy
  9. Well, Hank came thru once again-my trailer has new rollers & lights so we will be over on Sun to defend the cup. T-Con and Dustin won't be able to be there but we did get a nice morning of kings & steelies out of Port Bay before picking up the trailer yesterday. I'm looking forward to seeing all you guys again and since I haven't been on Cayuga for ages I'm trying to catch up by reading any and all posts. See ya Sunday!
  10. Thanks Mike-good advice. Pretty much what I've done in the rifle dept and just need to buckle down and do it for the these Stoeger i-drive auto loaders for geese. We've got 3 of the same guns so at least that should make forward progress a bit simpler. PM sent

  17. Why take em off the wire? Just velcro the diver's trip arm to your rod handle ,wrap the leader around the reel and attach the big snap at the end of the leader to the reel handle or reel w/ a hair zingie. No kinked wire-and no wasted time rigging and unrigging.
  18. I and others have posted a lot of good info on rigging and techniques for jigging. Use the search features- it's all there. Have fun! -Andy
  19. Sounds like the new ride is on em, good for you! -Andy
