you guys certainly deserved every fish you got. You put in the time as parts of those days were rough!  I think Saturday was the roughest I have fished in a long long time.  I am sure Saturday when those charters saw my little rec boat head out at 530am into those waves they questioned our sanity!!! Pounding back to Wilson thru 5’ waves from olcott made me question it also. We were safe just used a lot of gas!

 

For us we found no good consistent patterns but did end up with 3 fish in the 13-14# range. Friday black and purple spoons took our kings in 250fow then Saturday it was black and orange in the same water as you. Baby kings came on everything….. FF and spoons all colors!  Cohos had no pattern except for the top 20’ of water. Had one hit as I was setting the rigger release!

I just received a letter from Catharine Young - Senator 57th District. She is in favor of law S.4195 which would make the three rods permanent. She says that the three rods expired in March this year? 

Been up to the Big O since April 6th. Time to move to my home port at Hidden Harbor on the Cattaraugus Creek. Fished two tournaments which I love. Pt. Dalhousie and the Wilson Invitational. Didn't do as expected but a great time for adrenaline junkies. Caught lots of Kings, Cohos, and some very big lakers. We unexpectedly caught a 75 lb 5' Lake Sturgeon during the Pt. Dalhousie Tournament.

I look forward to my time on Lake Ontario every year. Be back Labor Day.  Walleye are starting to pick up and I live two blocks from the Catt.

Great Reports and video on how to reel at first release. This proves you don't have to run like a crazy man to get to the rod. I noticed you reeled up all the slack before you picked the rod out of the rigger rod holder. 

Looking for a good motel around Pt. Dalhousie for April 26 27 28. We use to stay at Holiday Inn but I hear it's changed hands.

Where can I find the results of St. Catherines Big John Tournament and the KOTL series.

Looks like I have a burnt out board. Water got in through speaker. Where can I get this fixed.

Was on the Lower Niagara River Sunday. Lot's of big logs from the flooding on Lake Erie streams. So all be careful. The logs seem to be water logged and just at the surface, hard to see. Lots of garbage and bags.
