snuck out for a few hours last eve. was thinking esox would be active given the little front moving through, but after running into zach at the launch it sounded like i might need to expand my horizons. found a nice hump in 30fow that was loaded with what looked to be eyes and possibly smallies on the graph and definitely some toothy marks lurking around it. threw, jigged and trolled everything I had but no luck. came close to picking up some worms for harnesses...wish I did. Zach, I gotta say that when I saw your note that you were on your way out there, I was jealous...after I saw your post with that incredible day you had I was REALLY jealous. that is awesome. you sure are having a good year. too bad I'm in the same boat at Sol: drydock couple more weeks for me...all this travel sux. is it summer or winter outside these days???...I'm losing track

I dont fish these tourneys as I'm not a salmon/trout guy so it doesn't affect me either way, but its hard to be on LOU and not be aware of the support that Tom has put into the tourneys and as a result into the Lake and our region. not to fester this wound of a thread but breach of implied fiduciary responsibility and a lapse in judgement not to announce the name change a year in advance after reading both sides...I'll leave it at that. Tom, I'm sure you'll build an even better marketing mousetrap oh and Tom, send me one of your stickers and I'll put it on the back of my muskie rig in silent protest...with hopes that I have the pleasure of driving in front of one of those guys. I had been advised not to soak any sport fish that I caught with my pole, which I think crappie and bluegill are considered...I know perch are. You may be able to use crappie and bluegill minnows if you net them but the regs seem a bit unclear to me. http://www.dec.ny.gov/outdoor/47282.html
