  5. 'me love you long-time' doesn't count towards chick magnet status when they ask for the money upfront [ Post made via Mobile Device ]
  6. welcome! that's a great catch and certainly a lot better than my little 36 on Saturday. [ Post made via Mobile Device ]
  7. dunno, i skipped fishing altogether yesterday due to the impending earthquake...that's MY excuse [ Post made via Mobile Device ]
  8. its not the smiling thats boring... that and being out with good company is great...its the bass (and dink ones at that) that will have me wishin we were on waneta. but I'd rather see my nephew have a good time and catch a lot of fish rather than feed my own habit while he struggles for bass, which is why I'm going to take them over to H instead. I'd consider lamoka but they are also a bit far for a quick trip. [ Post made via Mobile Device ]
  9. well its still serviceable with a bit of work...only about a dime sized and thin on the side behind the joint, but it just pisses me off. probably should send it back and have him repaint it. that's the part I'm most upset about...the repair itself is simple. what would you do? 10. sounds awesome but gotta take my BIL and his son out for bass saturday after he and i hit the bob wier show on friday...so we're honeoye bound for some hopefully fast (but boring) action [ Post made via Mobile Device ]
  11. thanks for showing me those this weekend zach, they look really well made and considering i lost a chunk out of my wiley kowalski, I'm a bit sensitive to that now. and your success rate speaks for itself [ Post made via Mobile Device ]
  12. to each his own. any fishing is better than not fishing. rather than ranting just use it as an opportunity to remind yourself how much you do enjoy the species you prefer to target. every time i play golf i remember how much I love fishing...for ANY species [ Post made via Mobile Device ]
  13. we had some entrants from your side of the lake ...next year... very nice catch. [ Post made via Mobile Device ]
  14. oh yeah...I love my mauis...both pairs [ Post made via Mobile Device ]
  15. Me too!!!...I almost ran over the 'for sale' sign those fish erected in the middle of Waneta last fall
  16. Gus, you takin tricks from my playbook there??? those are walleye speeds and lures WTG!
  17. Joe, I tried those add-on LCs and they sucked...ended up going for the daiwa 47LCAs, couldn't be happer...in the wallet or on the water! ...counting level winds is NOT FUN in the dark either
  18. Bob you most definitely will not be the only one on that lake. in fact there is a bass tournament there so the launch will be packed around 6am and parked trailers will line the street. gets warm there quickly so you may find them shallow or open water. try the N and S ends in the weeds as well as the open water nearby. I think this is the year off of the every other year weed killing so the shorelines on both sides should be weeded up too [ Post made via Mobile Device ]
  19. mighty generous offer Larry. I wish I could make it, but this weekends a bust for me...gotta get stuff done around the homestead, spend a bit of time with the fam ...come tuesday I will pretty much be out of town through the following sunday. gotta use this weekend to get prepped for the tourney too...the secret weapon is going on the boat. Locating fish that skirt off to the side of the boat wont get much easier one of these times the stars are going to align for me to get the one of the NMA events, they sound like a blast! thanks again
  20. a very nice pre frontal morning. WTG! I'm jealous. [ Post made via Mobile Device ]
  21. wow I gotta say those turned out awesome. nice job zach [ Post made via Mobile Device ]
  22. no prob, by the way the lower the voltage motor (i assume yours is 12 volt) will use more current per lb of thrust than higher voltage ones will. in other words a 12v needs more juice to make 50lb than a 24v to make 100lb. thus one 12v will not last as long as 2 in 24v mode using the same type of battery during an outing. so the larger battery the better [ Post made via Mobile Device ]
  23. thats awesome! [ Post made via Mobile Device ]
  24. you want a good deep cycle (not cranking) one with good reserve capacity (rc). interstate srm-27b or srm-29 are very good for the price and available at most RV dealers or the local interstate distributor. [ Post made via Mobile Device ]
  25. oh and its like an hour downstream to get out of the county waters...not a great option either...
