2.1-2.5 tends to be the norm for me, but I do run it a little faster some times through clear water. or a little slower of the water is cold or if the fish are real negative

Great weather this week. Great laughs. Great food. Great Fishing.
Start Planning for 2010!
I let the guy get his pick taken with my king and see what happens... we are getting into cohos, steelys, browns, and atlantics over the past couple days.. good numbers of all. mostly sticks.....
I run trilene XT 17lb on my rods.. when fleas hit i will strip off a couple hundred feet and splice in some 30lb ande. for browns I will put some 10lb t line. for pike I will throw on a few feet of 50lb power pro................
i was in the same situation and had to go have it weighed and inspected.. It is now registered as "homeade". That was a small trailer for a 14ft boat.. but I think you should be fine
fireplug, dont knock it till you tried it..... I doubled my hook up rate when I started wearing one on the lake.. one of those things that you dont really get, but it WORKS!!!!
So a buddy gave me a cannon speed and temp unit he had that was like 20 something years old... it doesnt go on the downrigger cable like the new ones but rather has a probe that gets attached to the transom...
do I need coated cable?
does anyone know about this unit or have any info about it?
any info would be helpful
thanks!
try using 1 color of lead core between your main line and leader.... tying overhand loop knots in the ends of the lead core wil allow you to add them or remove them easily I like to run them behind a small dodger like a lake clear wobbler... or off mini-inlines...also try to pump the rod on the inlines.....
