  5. What boat? I have a ranger and have two Lowrance ducers mounted one on each side of the plus on the lower step get good performance out of both. I would look and post over at walleye central tons of guys have pics of their setups over there
  6. I get the concept, but have a couple questions I've never run them. What size diver? How long of a lead off the ball (I get this can vary depending on fish) but looking for rule of thumb or what works for you guys. Do you run a free or fixed slider with this presentation? I only have two riggers so need to choose wisely what I run on each, I always run one in ice water and one 20-30 up. Do you like spoon then flasher fly on outdown or flasher fly off ball then outdown with the spoon. Thank you in advance for any tips and answers.
  7. Did you call Lund and tell them their quality has gone down hill and they should replace them for free? just curious if they helped you out.

  9. We got a late start out of the oak today battery trouble boxed two 2 year olds and a nice 31 inch steelie lost another two year old or a coho 100 behind the boat fished 9-4. warm water inside pulled one in 150 the other bites came around the 28 line, 85 on a rigger green dot with green crinkle shredded and nbk 150 back on wire on a 2 set, 450 copper with dw seasick took one. 3.0 at ball. Tough day of fishing not what I hoped for hope tomorrow will fish. Fleas not bad at all some grass wind starting ripping late afternoon. Hot sun. We are torched.

  16. I use 30 lb Maxima in Ultra Green, fleas don't collect line is a great performer been using it for years. For rigger reels better off sticking to Mono or a Co-Polymer
  17. We have a couple derby's down here on Ohio waters of Erie, payback is dependent on number of entries, both derbies have a entry cut off so everyone knows at the cut off date what everyone is fishing for as far as prizes go and prizes are posted. The spring one does allow for one day 10.00 entries, spring derby is 50 a person, fall is 25.00 per person. The last two that were run paid a 10K grand prize. Rosters are posted for both derbies and leaderboards are updated daily or close to daily. I have no dog in this thread but participant lists (entries) and payback schedule should be posted, transparency is important with all events that require an entry and have paid spots to the participants.
