I'll second that. Nice place he's got there.

I've ran 4 Traxstech 3" swivels for 4 years and haven't experienced any wobble in any of them yet. I had 13' of track on my little boat and didn't notice any stress issues. I only backed up the tracks that Traxstech recommends (18" and shorter). I now have 12' of track on the big boat but only have a half season on it. The only problems I've had with Traxstech products is that a planer reel cracked and I lost a retaining clip/snap ring on the axle of one adjustable rod holders (I have 12 so one clip on 1 holder isn't bad). In both cases, I called them and they sent out the parts no problem.

I got a response from TJ Amato from when I emailed him to see if he had any records. He did not have any records but from memory, says: Deck scuppers used 1.5" hose Large (aft) Bilge pumps used 1 1/8" hose small (fwd ) Bilge used 3/4" hose sink drains usually used 5/8" , sometimes 3/4 hose depending which drain assemblies we used

Oh, I was already planning to do stainless. I only want to raise the deck once. I'm going to do any of the hoses that show enough wear too. Now you have me wondering about the sizes I was thinking for the scuppers and bilge thruhulls. I've looked up scuppers online and what I've found is standard sizes are 1 1/2 and 2". Bilge pumps I've looked up are 3/4 or 1 1/8 hose so I thought that would be the size for the thruhulls. Maybe I'm thinking about hose vs fitting size wrong.

I'm planning a project of replacing several of the above water thruhulls on my boat. It's a 1987 288 Predator. I'm wondering if anyone knows what the sizes are for all the thruhulls so I might be able to order them ahead of time instead of stopping in the middle of the project to order parts. 2 deck scuppers 2 starboard midship 1 starboard rear (bilge) 3 port midship (one is bilge) 1 port rear (hatch scuppers) Thanks, Andy

I have had a SS60 on my previous boat and now have a B60 on my current boat. I used a Humminbird 958 on both and have been very pleased. Hank has done both installs. He likes cutting holes in boats... . -
great lake planners

Tony won't steer you wrong. I have planer pulleys from him that are all metal and indestructible. Also on my new boat, the arch is located further forward than can be used for rod storage by adding rod holders. I got two vertical quad stacks and mounted one on each side and am very happy with them. This actually works better for me because I'm not tall enough to get rods out of most arches without climbing on the cooler. The rods angle upward enough that they are not in the way at all when fishing or climbing on/off the boat. -

Does anybody recognize this man? Saturday morning we were headed across the bay and I lost the water pump on the port motor. I was probably his first call of the day at 6:30. Just 2 hours later we were headed out again with the water pickup blown out and a new impellor. Thanks Pops!! [ Post made via Android ]

Pretty much any brand radio will work, Standard Horizon, Uniden, Icom, .... The antenna height and quality have more to do with radio performance, generally. Get a good radio and spend the most you can on a quality antenna. Good luck, Andy

At least on the 900 and 1100 series, you can go in the menu and change the transducer selection to operate the 50/200 transducer. That might be a possibility on your model.

B60 is what some of us have. I never installed the factory transducer so I can't compare the two.
