  1. Sale pending.
  2. It has served me well. Upgraded the unit in the big boat with the intent to move it to the little boat, but it will not fit the console.
  3. Used Furuno FCV-667 for sale. Manual, sun screen, thru hull transducer, cables. $400.00 Available for pick up in NY, NJ, or PA http://i67.photobucket.com/albums/h320/ ... b9bb75.jpg 315-532-2859
  4. In Fair Haven we tow pens to the lake and release there at sunset.
  5. Black or clear dipsey with an orange spoon or OOO orange dodger / peanut fly. 5 setting 20' of line behind the diver 15-30' out depending on depth. You'll see the spoon it's so close but it does get it's share of big browns, steelies and cohos. Picture the boat moving thru an area as a wake. Fish will move to the sides as it passes. This will be in their path as they get out of the way. Mono is fine for this, braid if you have it is ok too.
  6. Why would you risk $10 to $20 dollar rigs behind a cheep swivel. Protect your investment. Sampo, Spro, Dreamweavr all quality products.
  7. FRIENDS DON'T LET FRIENDS BUY LOWRANCE PRODUCTS Go Furuno
  8. When the local Cannon repair shop runs Scotty's on his own boat...nuff said. No names will be used to protect the not so innocent. They just work, every time all the time.
  9. It's a little early for the bay and the first mature salmon return from the pens probably has the perch a little freaked out. try out the chute NW about a hundred yards. there is a hidden perch magnet there.
  10. Net pen programs at work. I challenge anyone to dispute that. We have not had returns to the bay of this magnitude since the end of the 90's. In those days stocking was done at the south end of the bay where our pen fish are reared these days. Just wait a couple of weeks and I think we will even blow those days away.
  11. 3-4 per side off the otter boats 125' back. Sticks one side spoons the other (let the fish decide where I go from there). Slide diver each side 20 back 20 out bright spoon 5 setting (this is close enough you'll see the spoon prefer orange here). Corner riggers back 75 w/ spoons. Center rigger 50' or less spoon or small flasher/fly.
  12. too long for me. thanks.
  13. Please send dimentions

  15. Lowes had snow blowers out front for sale yesterday. Just not ready for that yet.
  16. They most certainly are. Lots of warm water at the east end and plenty of fleas along with it. 30# test and 30# wire no problem. Braid most certainly will load up. Riggers can be raised and cleared of fleas if using lighter line.

  21. Captain Jim Jared (Shade Tree Charters) sets up the event that we run each year. It is thru Fort Drums Wounded Warrier program. We take about a dozen soldiers each year for a weekend the involves a bass club taking them on Friday, an escort by the Fair Haven Fire Dept to the American Legion for dinner. Lodging has been donated in the past by Screwy Louie's and Fair Haven Motel. Anchor resort has provided us their ground for the event. It concludes with a braggers rites salmon tourney on Saturday followed by a BBQ that is done by the dockers at Anchor Resort. We usually have 4 - 6 boats involved in the tourney. Jim is the guy with the contacts.
