Popeye replied to A-TOM-MIK's topic in Tournament Talk, Shows, Events & Seminars
I like it! Sounds good to me. -
Just a suggestion. Call or e-mail your congressman, they are the ones that make and approve laws and budgets. I do.

Fish will be arriving today!

Don't have an answer on that one but all these fish were within casting distance of shore. -

Spring brown trout trolling...lure colors
Popeye replied to pmjasper's topic in Questions About Trout & Salmon Trolling?
I find our Browns are feeding on Goby's as their primary forage until the alwives come in to spawn. Always fish most presentations tight to the bottom. Goby, black gold, copper gold patterns on spoons have been very productive. Hopefully you can find a mudline to target. I've had a lot of luck with slide divers up higher in the column with orange spoons about 25' behind the diver. -
Do you need me to loan out Team Crazy B!tch?

Is it worth the trip

Weather forecasts are less than reliable 1 day out. Look at it on Friday and make your call for the weekend. -
The ladies have assured me that they will be there next year to defend the title.

Great job guys! It was definately tough out there. -
Thank you all for the praise. The ladies deserve it, they did a great job on the rods. Jack if our salmon flags or my head gear offended you I would like to meet you in person to appalogize. We were there to have a great time and did so. As far as us not shedding blood sweat and tears, well sorry I will say your wrong, this lake has kicked my a$$ enough times for me to know that I have paid my dues. Team Fish Hawk I'm sure has no offiliation with "Jack". Tom is a fantastic angler and a giving person, a feirce competitor in these events. After his son won the jr angler big BT award at last years Fair Haven Challenge (a day of angling on my boat) he passed it on to the other young angler on his boat to take his family fishing. Thank you all for the praise and be assured the ladies will be back next year.

Fishing Report Your Name / Boat Name: ============== TRIP OVERVIEW ============== Date(s):8/20-22/2010 Time on Water:6-2 Weather/Temp:mixed Wind Speed/Direction:SE/NE Waves: 2-8 Surface Temp: 76 Location: LAT/LONG (GPS Cords): =============== FISHING RESULTS =============== Total Hits: Lost track Total Boated:25 over three days Species Breakdown: 1bt,1laker, rest kings Hot Lure: A-Tom-Mik Hammer and Shredded Hammer Trolling Speed: Down Speed: 2.7 Boat Depth: 160-450 Lure Depth: 110 ==================== We had a great time fishing the Oswego Scotty with Team Crazy ****. Yvan and his team did an excellent job with the tourney as usual. Conditions were less than perfect over the weekend but all persisted thro the 4-6 seas with the occasional 8 on Friday morning, and the building seas yesterday. S / East winds are never helpful at this end and made for some tough conditions. We were lucky to find a cooperative pod of fish that refused to leave there grounds all weekend. White/s and Hammers when over cast and Chrome / Shredded Hammer in Sun, plus some new patterns to look for in 2011. Thanks ladies.
