  1. Thanks again for all the help.
  2. Thanks for the feedback guys. Decisions decisions.
  3. MC Rockets work... Fantastic product. I used them with SUV BTI's and meat rigs last season, my most productive combo by far.
  4. Thinking about purchasing some LED Spreader Lights, they are expensive but they may be worth it. Would like feedback from fellow fishermen. Thanks/Tight lines!
  5. Tried MC Rockets last year and they were by far my best producer. The glow and tight roll seemed to do the trick. Very durable also.
  6. Nice looking rig, I miss mine!
  7. Way to go! I'm with buckboard, I love it out there. Too bad its so far from home. See you on the pond!
  8. Thanks again for the feedback guys, I ended up on Champlain, very cloudy and weedy water from all the storms, very slow fishing also. See you on the pond.
  9. Hey BuckboardJr, I fished out of Oswego last Saturday, fair amount of traffic on CH 72. May go to Lake Champlain (Willsboro Bay) in the a.m., just switched over to lighter tackle for that trip. Champlain water level is quite high now and lots of debris in certain areas but I heard Willsboro was not too bad. What a beautiful lake to fish. See you on the pond!
  10. You guys are the best! I'm going to hold off on the 3.5 hour drive for now. Thanks again guys and I hope it settles down out there for all. See you on the pond!
  11. Thanks Jetsled, That does sound tough. Hope that changes soon. See you on the pond!
  12. I hope you get right in to them Turf, may see you out there. See you on the pond!
  13. Just wondering if all this foul weather has affected the good bite that was on last weekend. Thinking about one last trip. Any feedback much appreciated. See you on the pond!
  14. Super report! The flies tore us up in Oswego Saturday also! See you on the pond!
  15. Fishing Report Your Name / Boat Name: ============== TRIP OVERVIEW ============== Date(s): Time on Water: Weather/Temp: Wind Speed/Direction: Waves: Surface Temp: Location: LAT/LONG (GPS Cords): =============== FISHING RESULTS =============== Total Hits:11 Total Boated:6 Species Breakdown:Kings Hot Lure: Smurf SUV/MC Rocket, 1 on 450 copper/J plug, 1 on SD/Spook fly[/img][/img] Trolling Speed: 2.4 Down Speed:1-6-1.8 Boat Depth:160 Lure Depth:85 ==================== SUMMARY & FURTHER DETAILS ==================== Great time on the pond! Trolled the 160 ft line, kept us out of the pack, most boats closer to shore.! Fish ranged from 18 to 28 pounds. Lost our fair share of screamers. Broke one off on a dipsey with Smurf SUV Mamba and MC Rocket meat rig, another due to bent hook on Savant Mag on 450 copper. Fish turned on before sunset. If anyone finds the rig we lost give it a good soaking and I think you will be happy! See you on the pond!
  16. Nice going Doozer! Sorry to hear its your last day out, that is always a sad day for me! See you on the pond!
  17. Fishing Report Your Name / Boat Name:Shake-n-Bake ============== TRIP OVERVIEW ============== Date(s):8/26 8/27 Time on Water:8/8 Weather/Temp: Wind Speed/Direction: Waves: Surface Temp: Location: LAT/LONG (GPS Cords): =============== FISHING RESULTS =============== Total Hits: 8/4 Total Boated:6/2 Species Breakdown:Kings Hot Lure: 10" BTI Smurf SUV Mamba with Smurf SUV twinkie/meat rig and Mag MC Rockets Trolling Speed: 2.2-2-6 Down Speed: 1.4-2 Boat Depth: 200-550 Lure Depth: 100-150 ==================== SUMMARY & FURTHER DETAILS Friday temp was pretty good and fish fairly cooperative running east to west on the 200 foot line. Largest landed was 22lb. Lost a screamer on the 450 copper with dodger and meat rig, came unbuttoned after a few minutes. Saturday lost a screamer first thing and noticed we lost the good temp. Continued to troll in the bath water for too long before searching for better temp. Ended up trolling out to the 550 ft line east of West Nine Mile to an old waypoint of mine and found good temp down 150 with lots of bait, ended up 2 for three there, largest 28 pounds. Called a friend who motored down and his young son landed a King and it was time for us to head back home ahead of the storm! Always a good time out there, can't wait to get back! I really like the MC Rockets, nice tight roll and the tell tale bend in them when when a fish hits so you know whether or not it was a false release. See you on the pond!
  18. Heard lots of good things about them, finally got my hands on a pair of Short Sticks 1 piece used from an ex charter captain. The minute I picked one up I had to have them. Can't wait to hit the lake with them now! See you on the pond!
  19. Mark, I use it all the time for hunting and fishing. Another tool in the arsenal. See you on the pond!
  20. I was mistaken on the Savant spoon, it was a Holo Green Herring not Alewife, sorry for the error guys. See you on the pond!
  21. My 958 HB acts strange in that area for some reason also.
  22. Last Friday we hung in there for the moon underfoot around 1-1;30 and the bite was on! I use Prime Times calender and believe in it. I still try to put all the time I can on the water or in the woods when I get to go. See you on the pond!
  23. Fantastic report! Never made the journey that far West but all I hear is good! See you on the pond!
  24. Hey Slow Rollin, Ive been there done that many times, do not despair. We fished Fairhaven Fri/Sat and really had to work for them. The best water for us was out in front of West Nine Mile 80-110 over 200 2.4 GPS. Mag Savant Holo Alewife on the riggers was our best with a Stinger Gobie 2nd, changed a lot of spoons out before we settled on those! Did not take a hit on the dipsey/flashers but they contributed to the spread because without them the spoons did not get bit. Hope this helps a little, keep on grinding and they will come. See you on the pond!
