  1. There should be an option for community edits under Map Options. I think that will turn off the sharing of your marks. Not 100% sure on that. I think you can also use a PC if you set up an account. I have had the APP for several years but have not tried to look at them on a PC. That might cost extra. 2. I live in the northern zone. I get deer in my backyard occasionally. I had 2 doe and a fawn go through early this morning. The one doe was flicking her tail a lot. She went up to an overhanging branch and rubbed her face on it. 10 minutes later I had 3 bucks go through end to end! The biggest of the 3 checked that branch. It looked like full rut here the way those bucks were cruising. 2 years ago I had some video on one of my trail cams with 2 bucks chasing a doe this same week. Update - make that 4 bucks. Just had an 8 point go through with one side dropped.
  3. That worked, thanks. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  4. Maybe Legacy will chime in here. Maybe it was someone else but I remember seeing a pic of a shockwave that looked just like yours Kevin, maybe even more intact. I started using Barnes after I saw that. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  5. It always cracks me up how nobody ever comments on what a great job the DEC is doing. This state is very diverse. I hunt 3 different areas of the state. Otsego, Oswego (NZ), and Ontario counties. In Otsego and Ontario I saw the same amount of deer I usually see. On my own land in Oswego County I saw way less deer. 2 properties within a mile of me were logged heavily and that is where a lot of the deer were. Find the food and you will find the deer. Each of us only sees a tiny piece of the state and we never get a good look at the big picture. From my perspective where I hunt there are plenty of deer and the age structure is slowly getting better in all 3 areas. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  6. I can’t read the article. I agree on the float suit and I would not step foot on early or late ice without spud. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  7. Awesome. I am already planning on taking my 8 year old for squirrels next week with my old Remington .22 open sites. It is a great way to start working on woodsmanship. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  8. Yeah one more night like last night would have gone a long way in CNY. I think it will be at least 3 weeks now unless you go north. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  9. Sorry for the late response. There is a mix of eyes and perch off the canal. How did you do? Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United

  13. Ironically it is on Camofire today. $18 for 1 state and $60 for all 50 states. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  14. If you watch Camofire you can get it for a discount. I think I got all 50 states for $60. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  15. I killed one yesterday morning. I hate torching one off opening morning but it’s better than letting him go by. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  16. All big woods hill country here. Lots of land and lots of hunters too! Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  17. I am guessing it was in the headlights. 100 shots so far. Pretty typical I hear 100 before 8AM. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United

  21. I bet it’s a good day for an all day sit once this rain clears out. Good luck whaler. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  22. I usually run muzzys but this year I switched to a little heavier arrow and 125 G5 strikers. They really flew well for me. The most consistent flying fixed blades I have used. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  23. Sitka Incinerator hand muff is a must have for me. Let’s me bow hunt with bare hands no matter how cold. I don’t like a glove on my release hand. I also picked up a rechargeable hand warmer. That should be perfect when (if?) it gets cold. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  24. Slice it up and fry it with butter, salt, pepper. It is excellent. I can’t believe more people don’t keep the heart. I have never left one behind. I take the liver too. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  25. Great job! Public land I assume? Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
