    we made the same move, except we actually tried it and headed out the channel at Sodus about half mile before turning around and back to the launch. it was way to much chop with a 21 footer, launched in Geneva about 7:30

    Well started the morning planning on fishing kings out of Sodus with two friends from work.Got there with a stiff north wind, headed out the channel and after bobbing like a cork in a real nasty chop, made the turn back to the dock, loaded up and headed to Seneca. Started with a 7 rod spread, 4 rigger, one dipsy, one 6 core and a 300' copper up the chute. Fished from bellhurst to Clark pt with alot of marks and bait. Picked up a 6 to 6.5# laker on a 240 dipsy pulling a white green dot spin doc/ reel hooked fly. Went a while with just two releases, one dropped and one empty. Changed up the riggers and the 110 rigger with a sutton 88 got Slammed ! Pulled out to 425 on the counter. One of the hardest battles I have seen on Seneca ended about 20 mins later with a hefty 11 pound later on the scale! Right after popped a 3lb rainbow on a stinger scorpion gator spoon 35 down on the rigger.Picked up about 11 when the sun got pretty warm fun day on the water. Lakers went back and the rainbow came home for the grill.

    I have run a variety of spoons behind a silver dodger on Seneca with about a 30 in lead and did well. Never tried spoons with the spin doc

    May have to fish Seneca and not Lake O Sunday(nw 15-20) how bad were the weed pods on the east side?

    Hello, looking for a replacement bar for the canvas top on a '99 2052 Trophy. Factory price is outrageous, price shopped a few canvas places, looking for any other ideas or good ways to repair. It was snapped clean temporarily fixed for now, thanks Kevin

    My four year old Kayla was so proud to take this pic yesterday ! Took her to the canal with her Barbie pole and a dozen worms. It took her 30 seconds before the bobber was down and she caught her first fish. Now I know how happy my dad was when I caught my first. Can't wait for her to boat her first trout!

    Great thanks Jason ! That is great with your daughter ! I am taking my oldest (4) to a local pond this weekend with her Barbie pole and a bobber to chase bluegills. How long you staying at the cottage ?

    Fished dad and I this morning. Tough getting up after flying in from a exhausting trip with the family to Disney , couldn't wait to get out! Headed out of Sampson about 645 a and ran straight across to Dresden and headed north. First half hour couldn't keep more than two rods on the water. Soon as I got a rigger to 30 to 40ft it would pop! First fish was a small landlock on a gator stinger. setting back and the other rod with a dreamweaver nbk green fired and an acrobatic landlocked was in the net about 21in. Just ran 4 rigger rods and one core. It was fast action and only me setting was tough to keep up. After dad dropped two landlocked I was busting on him pretty bad then I dropped one at the back of the boat fast as it was it died off about 830. Finished with a nice 6 to 7 lb laker. 4 for 7 3 Lls and one laker. Great to be able to still spend this time with dad, and make our traditional Father's Day trip . Happy Father's Day to all -Kevin

    I am in the "same boat" Tim. Would love to be at it today but its the wife's birthday today. Leaving for Disney for the week. Game on starting next weekend! Hope to see you out there
