  1. Thanks flx, that is our usual run near the pumphouse, east-west then up near German bros on the west side, may try a little further south, hope to see you out there!
  2. those who know me know I share my info on a regular basis. I have not been on Canandaigua in about 4 weeks, and am wondering what is going on out there. Any help would be appreciated before I go out this Sunday, thanks -Kevin
  3. sorry for your loss
  4. thanks Pike Hunter! The wife says I used up all of my wall space
  5. ONE THING THAT DOESN'T CATCH FISH....MJFRITZ jk, we will be out there later in the week
  6. Dave, am I not teaching you good joking this is a great site for info, these guys are all great, welcome abord!
  7. I was one of the 40+ boats combat fishing the mouth of the river Sunday am Fletch, nothing in front of the river, lots of marks only managed 1 hookup out in 50fow, only saw one boat hooked up at first light. I was in a white 22' Trophy
  8. nice clean brown! egg sack or cleo?
  9. This pic was already posted on another LOU link, but want input. All the trolling hours I put for years, this is the largest brown I ever caught on the Summerville Pier last Friday on a glow cleo 9 1/2ft light action rod. The rough measurement b4 release and pic was 36" long, 21" girth. DEC website called the fish 19-21 lbs. I am usually good at weight estimates, any guesses?
  10. Hey, Thanks! i Actually checked the chart of length x girth and the online chart says 20.99lbs on 36in long x 21.5 girth...but we will never no for sure! All I know is it is the biggest brown I ever caught. Caught on a 2/5 Glow/green mupped ladderback cleo
  11. Brown I caught and released on 9/11 Friday, the pic...finally! 36" (measured against my body)
  12. I managed 3 hook ups Friday night, with only a 14-16 lb brown landed. I will get the photo from my buddy and post it
  13. Dale, Let me know when you want to go. We are going to hit the river for 1 or 2 combat fishing trips then be on Seneca or Canandaigua until the snow flys. Both those lakes get red hot from here on
  14. Decided to blow off the LOC last day and head for Seneca. Fished from Kashong to Dresden from 65-105fow with lots of bait and marks. Put in 3 hrs (7:30a-10:30a) CLEANING WEEDS THE WHOLE WAY Ended the day 8/17 all lakers, mostly 18-22" range, 2 up near 7#. Wire took most, but biggest was 55/62 on the rigger w/ silver/copper sutton 88. Silver/green Blade runners also bagged fish as well as only 2 spin doctor, fly hits. Lot of fish on for 5-10 sec then gone. Fish gotten to the boat were all hooked in the lower jaw, which for some reason usually leaves you around 50% hook up/landing rate.....any ideas? Fish coming up from the bottom? Constant speed was an issue with a South 15-20 blow, but ranged from 1.3-1.9 mph average
  15. Fritz, we need to get more glow sticks for the bottles
  16. I usually go by the September full moon...but it is early this year I am thinking maybe 1 more week with the cool evening to bring the temps down. Looking forward to being out there again!!
  17. Had a slow day on the west side. Fished from german bros toOnanda park. Went 0/2 both small lakers I am guessing by the feel. One 90/110 on the rigger and one on wire near the bottom in 75fow. Did not mark many fish, lots of bait however
  18. all the damage was something! it was just in the small area where the cdga yaht club is, down trees, treetops broken off, some blow boats piled up near the shore .FLX, if you tried calling I was picking up static on the radio, could not make it out though.
  19. Hey Flx, Woody thanks for the reply. We will keep the radio on 68, if we venture south look for a 22' Trophy i/o white canvas Blue Ghost boat name. Some times the hills interfere with the radio out there, but it will be on. -Kevin
  20. A strong west wind and 4-6 footers on Lake O are making us decide to hit Cananadaigua instead of taking a beating....anyone else heading out Sunday on the North End?
  21. Just going out of my mind here at work, looking out the window seeing awesome conditions to be out for the loc! The boat is in the garage, gased up ready to go and I am here!!! Let me know what I missed and why did I not call in today???? Sorry just wanted to vent -Kevin
  22. we will be out Sunday am pending on a strong NW wind predicted
  23. nice report!
  24. the cove just north of Lodi is usually good in August for lakers and browns. 60-80 fow from 40ft to the bottom. Have not fished there in about 4 weeks, but is usually productive. Green/white spin doctors, green flies work well, sutton 44's or frog nk 28 also work for us good luck, Kevin
