I have for sale a 1993 electric start 9.9 Johnson shortshaft outboard kicker set up for trolling in good working condition. It has been sitting winterized in my garage since 2001 and I have taken it out to run on the muffs, to check the impeller and the pump and everything works well. The compression is 98 psi in each cylinder. It comes with a metal tank, a factory service manual and older remote control box and a wooden stand that I built a few days ago. It is not a tiller. I also have the OMC kicker bracket with gas piston for sale in another post. $650 -

That may be true and probably made in China. The Garelick type you would need is 71094. the Panther type would be 55-0416. Both are around 15 inch vertical lift and specially the Garelick is not exactly cheap. The Panther is a lot cheaper. Just remember that replacing the engine , because it took a dive or fell off while traveling, is not exactly cheap either.

So now it is kicking it in the balls

There is also the possibility of an auxiliary outboard bracket. There are 2 stroke and 4 stroke brackets. Then there are 10 inch and 16 inch vertical travel brackets. The 16 inch travel bracket is used for long shaft kickers. This enables you to raise the kicker all the way out of the water when traveling on the water. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United

Mexico Point Boat Launch closed?

With all due respect, but the cost of catching a fish is far higher than the cost of buying a fish. -

Whether they fish with their friends or their clients, they disregard social distancing and/or non essential business closing orders. If they are from Wrights landing, they are shut down as Wrights Landing is closed until July 13. I think these anal cavity people are from the Little Salmon.

I would love to know who those captains are,so I know whom to stay away from.

On a side note. Enforcement of the water rules used to be the exception rather than the rule. These days, with all the drones, a lot of violations will be on camera and on record. I could think of some people not only having to pay fines, but also of having their boat impounded.

I took the Boat USA course a few years ago. I really enjoyed all the learning and reading. Specially all the flags that different types of boats are required to fly and the right of way rules. It was great medicine for cabin fever. As for the course not helping stupid people who drink and do drugs while boating, at least they can't plead ignorance anymore. I'll dig out my online diploma and put it in my cabin window. Oh , for all those people who think that this is just another way for "The Emperor" to get your hard earned money, the course is free through Boat USA https://www.boatus.org/newyork/

State of Washington Closes Recreational Fishing
rolmops replied to Rookie Fisherman's topic in Open Lake Discussion
In Washington state there are a lot of places where people stand shoulder to shoulder while fishing (kind of like 8 mile creek here). That makes it almost impossible not to come into physical contact. Nobody in their right mind should do that now (or any time). -
