haha yes they were and so was crashing on yer boat when I left the Black North - er, I hope it was your boat! and how about that hike to the launch along everyone's back yard?

my favorite moment came as an observer on a pro boat at the Niagra Pro-Am. The boat I was on was picking away here and there all morning until running into a spot loaded with cohos. Within a 30-45 second period 4 rods fired with 4 fish - yep quaded up! The captain shot like a rocket for one of the rods as they were going off all over the place - never saw someone move that fast before. As the first fish was nearing the boat, one the mate yells - get the net quick! Guess what? It was only a four man team!!! Everyone else was fighting fish hard (you know how cohos can be) and trying to keep lines from tangling and yelling at each other. May have even overheard a curse word or two - not sure That was the best train wreck of 2 or 3 minutes I've ever seen and what a blast! P.S. I learned alot that day too

jason - it was because of the bumpy boat ride gaj - none of the lakers I cleaned had eggs (3) neither did the LL's (2)

Oh yeah the lakers were around 27-29 inches and only 1 had a lmprey mark.

thanks for a great morning on the water. Here is a pic of my son Karter with one of the lakers. Sorry no really good pics of the rest or the LL's - my cell phone camera sucks! The LL's were about 19 and 20 inches and nice and fat (and yummy) We had them for dinner last night I wish I had a pic of them they were very healthy and well fed.....and now we are well fed

here is the king I landed tuesday night about 3AM

went up to the pier to meet carpedium and do some night fishing. when I get there he says to me there may be some other guys coming too - cool I'll meet some new people. Well slimy hooks came down and some other LOU guys too. Even though it was kinda slow, we managed to hook up a couple of times and carpedium landed one on his third cast about 8:45PM. He musta been all pooped out from that and he left around 1 or 2 AM. Well me and slimy ain't afraid of fishing all night so we were in for the long haul. well all I needed was for carpe to leave and then I hook up and land a nice king about 24 lbs. Pisture to follow later. All in all it was a tad slow but there were a bunch of great guys out there and everyone cleaned up after themselves.

haha bananas! we had banana strawberry yogurt, banana splits, banana chips, wore banana suits, had the yellow rods out and put down some yellow dodgers and flies.... Glen it was a tough day with the wind, waves, rain and tight lipped fish. but it was better than staying at home working on the to do list from wifey I ran overe to the salmon river at the ballpark and black hole for a couple of hours to see if they were in there - nope. Did see a couple porpoising in the black hole and a line of snaggers - i mean fishermen - downstream in the rapids, but NO ONE was catching them.

Todd thank you for showing us an awesome time on the water. You and your daughter are great people and excellent fishermen (and women). We had a great time laughing about the morning chum line from my son and the fact it took him twice as long to get his fish in than it took Bri to get hers in! It would be my pleasure to get out with you again sometime. Maybe next time we'll get more purple and maybe some blue too Rodney (kremer01)
