  1. I've done the night fishing thing on Lake Michigan casting 3/4 oz. lipless crankbaits and glow spoons. It is pretty productive and alot of fun. Talk about a circus trying to land them at night! Headlamps are a must and the nice thing is you can really beef up on the line (30lb. braid) if you want to.
  2. cool pic I bet the rigger was like me complaining about a sore back the next day - aaarrrrgggghh
  3. thanks for the report Sean good job
  4. I'm jealous - looks like lots of fun. Jason, How come you never call me from the boat when you are getting skunked? Mike, is Ray right are you a convert?
  5. oh my god is that Ray K?!?
  6. looking forward to the report - sorry you did not do as well as you would have hoped, but there's always another event down the road! seems like the fish are very sporadic this year - like you said right place right time kinda thing
  7. he fished it very well - listened real good to everything we told him to do as he fought it. here is another pic with the sunset in the background.
  8. here is a pic of my son Konnor and his first LO king - his biggest fish caught to date too! we guesstimated it at a bit over 20# thanks to spoonfed Glen for taking us out. fairly slow fishing for us, but a great time!
  9. "hope you had fun at work" ?!? ouch you really know how to kick a guy in the groin. I am jonesing for that kind of action! great great job sean!
  10. hey greg you are not far from me - i live in HH north of Wygant. why did the Ted Nugent rock get painted over anyway? - that sux lol
  11. my thought exactly gotta bite....hmmmm....may want to make sure the cabin is cleaned really well and sanitized?
  12. way to go Sean - we fished west side near severne saturday and weeds and fleas were terrible.
  13. no horsing - only make you look like ass instead. no one likes a pointer! stand tall! seriously, there will be more weight and more drag with dipseys, especially wire dipseys, so the reel drag should be set so that it holds while running, but a fighting fish might take it out. Just let the fish take drag when it wants to. How you bring it in depends on how the fish is fighting (and how big it is) people will have different opinions about that - for me if it is a bigger fish I will pump it in, gently. smaller fish I might just reel. $.02
  14. wtg stan!
  15. great job Mike those kids look pretty satisfied (and a bit tired too i think)
  16. thanks for good time and a nice evening on the water - always nice to get out with you. I'm glad we were able to help out the stranded boater too. Good Karma Anyway, if anyone plans on fishing seneca, think hard because the weeds and fleas are really terrible. We spent more time clearing lines than anything else, and some of the clumps were about 15 pounds.
  17. Cheers for you on YOUR day! Happy Birthday!
  18. yea! the best site I have come across - like dave (tangledline) said its part of the daily routine - probably too much a part of the daily routine. I can't help it though I'm addicted!
  19. I can vouch for glen this is a good camper and a really nice campground. Really quiet and nice facility to shower in if you don't want to use your camper. I stayed there the whole weekend of the Pro-Am and it was great!
  20. hey where are the rest of your grand slam pics (brown and landlock)?
  21. Glad to hear! The boards are not the same with out you Bob!
