call your local (county) DEC office and they will tell you dates and approx. times for the stockings - but they cannot give you exact times as they stock a few streams or lakes in the same day with the same crew. Can't tell where you are from your post, but the Chemung county guy was VERY nice and informative on the phone
My 13 year old caught a 31.25 inch walleye in the Maumee river about this time last year. It 'only' weighed about 10lbs. I would LOVE to see a 15 lber!! That is a true Monster!
yep me too. I soak em n ice water with a little salt and lemon overnight. Have done it with LM and they are ok I don't do it often though cause I can catch the same LM about 3-4 times a year out of the ponds I fish back home.
I would say that is sort of strange also, especially since you are a chef and a fisherman and know how to gut, bleed and clean a fish properly. Maybe they just shook more salt, pepper or spices on some and less on others
Ray grab me and my kids on the way through so we can get a whole bunch of rods in the water. We'll make your boat look like a porcupine out there on the river!!
Oh yeah and I'll pack plenty of beer too!
ray forgot to mention the reason he was late. seems it took him a minute and a half to get some fun loving and another 13 and a half minutes to figure out what just happened before heading out to the launch. glad he was able to get a couple pieces of clothes on though. slider, er i mean slippery, was drooling over the collection of flies and spoons on rays boat. too bad he couldnt have done it closer to the ramp it would have melted a spot big enough for us to get out.
