great post Ray. I'm bummed I could not go. Sounds like you guys had a bunch of fish to tangle with, 2 and 3 on at a time according to Jason. He said the bear stew was really good and he'd be farting up a storm all night! Jason always has good things to say about you too, but fear not he will return soon to steal all the rods and hook all the fish!!
Happy Birthday Jason!! It has was a pleasure fishing with you last year and I hope we get to go out even more this year. Have a great birthday and take care buddy!
Oh and congrats on the new job too!
that is funny goin hungry - but I'm now way too scared to do the math for fear what the total would be....I can't believe some of the stuff they have come up with to tax it really is quite amazing.
I moved here from Indiana this past year. They have had a trout stamp out there for quite some time. It is not cool, but unfortunately people are used to it there now. HOWEVER, the taxes in Indiana are unbelievably low compared to NYS. The taxes here in New York are outrageous! and now I'm even going to get taxed for drinking regular soda????
Offshore fishing trip in FLorida - check, going Dec. 24th out of
Port Canaveral
Noodle Rod - check, saw the FedEx package behind the tree
Tackle - check, the kids can't keep a secret
Time to get out fishing - uh, well that remains to be seen
Jax thanks for the last post. I believe a lot of us on here have gotten to know Matt and your post just came out the wrong way and we jumped to his defense because he is a great guy and an ethical and fair sportsman. It is good to have different perspectives sometimes to keep people thinking about things, especially things that aren't guaranteed to always be around like a living natural resource.
On a seperate note, are browns good to eat? I've always heard they aren't very tasty so I have never even tried them. I have all of the salmon and lakers I can eat and they are better right??
